Dan represented me at my divorce hearing and the opposing attorney had him so lost and confused that Dan admitted he had read a report that didn't even exist! Dan even quoted material from this report - THAT DIDN'T EXIST!!

Whenever you need an attorney, it's most likely not an enjoyable event, certainly my needing to divorce an abusive and unfaithful spouse was not an experience I looked forward to. Dan Fiskum helped me to survive and recover and navigate through a family court system that is hostile to men. While my ex managed to chew through three separate attorneys in the process, Dan maintained his professionalism throughout, even though as "my attorney" he was subjected to the abusiveness of my ex just as I was. The ultimate outcome was a positive one for me, and Dan literally made sure that all the "I's" were dotted ant the "T's" were crossed. My life is better for having had Dan in my corner.

This lawyer can be challenging to communicate with. He also seemed to be distracted, often, when I, as a client, was speaking to him, but seemed very aware and expecting my complete attention when he spoke. Likes to talk about himself and goes off on tangents. He also does not have any staff, not even a receptionist. He is one attorney, not a "firm," in the sense of more than one attorney, as I would have reasonably expected, given his business name of "Fiskum Law."

We won at trial. Sometimes hard to get a hold of by phone, but always called back within a couple of days. Value was okay. All lawyers are expensive.

This lawyer is wholly uncommunicative, doesn't return phone calls and didn't even remember that there was a pre-trial hearing coming in my case. I reminded him and he was surprised to know that. He rescheduled it for a few months later because he was going to be on vacation. Two weeks before the resschuled hearing, I called him to find out what was going on, and he never responded. Incompetence like this MUST be recognized and addressed. Moreover, not only did I have to pay an initial retainer, but then when he wrote motions and affadavits and so forth, I had to sit with him and edit them, correct them and help him revise them! And he had the audacity after I hired a new attorney, to hit me with an additional $550 bill! PLEASE consider carefully before hiring this attorney!
