Was referred to Olschewski Davie by my realtor for my first home purchase and the experience was awful! We were told to meet at 590 Main St location and were treated like criminals before even getting in the front door. The receptionist was brutal and rude and I couldn’t believe that I was paying these people for a service when they clearly wanted nothing to do with me. After sitting around waiting we finally met with a paralegal in flip flops, not very professional for a law office. She was so rude and would audible sigh at any questions we asked. Never even met with a lawyer only a paralegal who just wanted to finish the meeting and move on. I would never recommend this place at all, horrible experience all around and will definitely never use again.

Absolutely terrible lawyer! My worst ever experience. Uninformed and definitely very unknowledgeable on a personal level so therefore the client has zero importance other than providing payment. Moodie as all hell and will not provide details on his charges and fees until pushed to the limit. Blatant liar providing you the wrong information and uses interogation tactics. Does not performm the functions that you as a client direct him to perform. Over charges to the max! I am now paying to store documents for 7 years plus the shredding fee of which I was never informed and on something as simple as a real estate transaction. Highest fees ever at 35% above anyone else. He will scream and yell when called out on his lies. He tries to promote and provoke phone and video calls so he can charge more and will not disclose email fees until pushed. He then ignores responding to get you to make a phone call. Stay clear here had I only known

This guy is a piece of work. He is exactly what everyone is referring to when they say they don’t like lawyers. He’s moodier than a teenage girl and as many other reviews say, doesn't read the file. He and his team are completely incapable of providing clear, concise direction or explanations. I will never use him again and will tell everyone I know to steer clear of him!

Brutal. Didn’t understand the process, didn’t enter evidence, wasn’t prepared. Simply terrible. If this is your only choice, either just pay if someone is suing ya, or eat the loss if you’re suing. It will be significantly cheaper.

If the form allowed "0"that's what he deserves. Doesn't read the file,made assumptions that were incorrect. Doesn't return calls and did not keep us updated on critical issues.Appears to be a "fee builder". Previous negative reviews but real estate co. continues to use him. Wish I had seen previous reviews prior to hiring.

Worst lawyer ever.Thank you for bad job done.Without your help we would be in better position.I wish i never give you my case!!!If you wanna save yourself don't take this company. Bad customer service, never returns calls back, they dont know what they doing, actually he dont know who is his client. I dont wanna mention about his stuff even worst.

Richard himself was fine. Other, than I'm not impressed with him disclosing information to my real estate office that he should not have. However, his paralegal was absolutely incompetent. SShe was impossible to reach and she did the purchase and sale completely separately; and then didn't check how funds balanced out which could have led to a gross miscalculation....will not use this firm again because of the paralegal.

Absolutely horible lawyer. Completely ineffective, over charges and the staff won't return phone calls. I explained multiple times how they couldn't do something, because of where I was situated and they refused to acknowledge what I was saying. 4 months later, and I still don't have the final documents related to my mortgage. In the meeting with Richard, he even said I was getting a refund for overpaying, and I haven't seen a cent of that yet. He also didn't seem to have read my file before the meeting and had no idea who I was. In addition he showed up very late to the meeting. The Office staff seems to have no clue what is going on, especially relating to any questions you have towards your mortgage.

Richard has handled three separate real estate transactions for my husband and myself. I think we had excellent customer service and our call were always promptly returned. I would defintely recommend him to all of my family and friends.

I went with Richard the first time and had okay service but they seem to be really getting their act together i had phone calls returned quite promptly and the service was extremly good.

We were referred to Richard by our realtor for the sale of our first home and the purchase of our second home. We had to drive all the way across the city to meet with him on Pembina Hwy however, because he has so many offices, he just drives from office to office all day long. Upon meeting him he was very friendly. He gave us inaccurate informtaion in regards to our property taxes, and he also calculated costs incorrectly in our bill. In the end, we had to cough up an additional $1800 approx for taxes etc that he did not include. We emailed him to ask him for an explanation etc, or at the VERY least some of our money back for his services that he SCREWED UP ON, and he has yet to reply. THat was a month ago. I stronly recommend you NOT use Richard for your realestate services.

The firm helped me with purchase of property. I did not meet Richard. They charged way too much but when I complained they reimbursed me a few hundred.
