Seemed Marilyn was going to fight for me. Staff was turning over but I liked Marilyns tenacity. At the very end during mediation she stopped fighting for me and my child. After mediation I had custody so okay, but if you knew the story, custody was a no brainer. About a month later I had a phone call from Marilyns staff saying the other side had changed there mind and was now not going to agree to terms at mediation. I said "so, file it we signed and agreed". They replied no and that I needed to send Marilyn another $5k retainer because money had run out. Send the money or agree, or go to court now withouta lawyer. At this point I was tapped out and had just enough money left to pay Marilyn the remainder of what I had tracked myself I would owe. The disagreement was that my young child would have to go visit there parent every other weekend in another state, and be on the road for over 500 miles every other weekend! For several years my child has been held to this. Trying to fix it now

Do not recommend if you are looking for an assertive counsel. She withdrew her counsel from us due to the lack of ability to communicate.
