He was mediator in my divorce for equity split and I asked him to make any final balances and awards after selling primary home as minimal as possible since the mortgage co would only be mailing the balances after closing to my ex. He had it in his power to reduce further court action if ex did not split the final check he got from mortg payoff but did not do that. Just said sue him for contempt if he does not split money. Now wasted money at mediation and now in court. He is also bad at math. Had to redo equity split so many times even the closing attny got confused.

This lawyer will NOT provide you with the help you need. He doesn't care about getting the best outcome for his client. Literally did the opposite of what was decided on in meetings and acted like there was miscommunication on straight forward decisions. Wasted money. This laywer wants to avoid going to court no matter what.

Recently I had a case against my ex husband regarding the custody of our children. The knowledge that Jeffrey Marshall had in this case was incredible, even though he wasn't involved in our divorce case four years ago, he was able to keep up with the information like he had. He communicated with me often to explain what was happening and what was likely to happen in our case. I always felt that he was working hard for me and my children. It seems to me that he could not possibly have charged for all of the time that he spent on this case and I would recommend the law firm of Marshall and Taylor to anyone going through a divorce or separation, especially involving child custody or support.
