Be warned! I took a chance and ignored the negative postings prior to enlisting his service. It was a bad decision. He doesn't respond to messages or phone call. He doesn't seem to care about your personal well being. Give him your case at your risk.

Did a great job with my case. Got my felony reduced to a misdemeanor. Never had any problems. Very reasonable pricing too.

This attorney represented me. He was more or less reachable, affordable and easy to communicate with. After awhile I was told my case had been dismissed. However I was unexpectedly rearrested a few years later, apparently either because Mr. Brooks had misled me, or for failing to complete all necessary paperwork pertaining to my case, I'm still not certain which, only that I had to hire a second lawyer, as by then Mr. Brooks was impossible to reach. Several people I've since spoken to (attorneys, bail bondsmen) seem to know Mr. Brooks by reputation.

I read one of the above reviews, and the state board does NOT state that he has been disbarred. I hired Shane Brooks to represent me in a Family Law matter. The outcome of the case was better than I had hoped for. I found Mr. Brooks to be friendly, easy to reach, and gave me a very good price for his legal services. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good, honest, tough attorney.

Mr. Brooks was very attentive to my case. He returned calls and even came in from out of town to get my case seen before a judge. I would recommend him to everyone.

Do NOT go near this attorney. He will get you in trouble rather than help you in any way. SERIOUSLY! He does not follow through on anything other than collecting your money. Then, he disappears and avoids answering or returning phone calls! I would not let this man represent my dog!!! Shane Brooks is BAD NEWS!!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS FROM HIM AS YOU CAN!!!

Stay away fron this attorney. I paid him to reset my case 2 weeks ago and he hast not done anything and has not return my calls.
