Mr. Antler represented me in a DUI case. This was my first DUI, first time in trouble as an adult, 43 years old. Mr. Antler took my money, made a bunch of promises and then all he did was delay my hearing. He told me what to expect and then the total opposite happened. No explanation, no reason, just took my money and have a nice day. I hope all attorneys are not this way. If he ever gets to practice in California again, you should think twice before using Mr. Antler.

These bad comments about Harlan are all untrue. Harlan represented me on a couple different cases which were all handled with the decency and integrity. He always answered my calls,and always returned my calls the same day. He even came and visited me in jail not to talk about the case but to see how i was doing.Instead of 18 months prison he got me six months in one of the best rehabs in northern california. Called NewBridge foundation. HE also visited me there. These bad comments are absurd. I highly recommend Harlan. He is passionate and he truly cares.

Due to Harlan's lack of decency he is now unable to practice law. Please go to the CA State BAR's website search his name and read. I am proud to say that as I former client who was taken by him, decided to hand over all my documents to the state bar and let them handle him. And they did!! Enough is Enough! Now he is unable to take other people's money for doing absolutely nothing

Mr. Antler represented me in feb 1999 to sept 1999 for my 9th DUI FELONY with two misdameanors. I was looking at 3 years in state pen,instead got 82 days in county jail.The best attorney I have ever known.Tracy Stewart

I learned the truth about Mr. Antler before the story in the news. I hired him in 2006, and I was able to relate to some of the negative things that were reported in the article. I paid him way to much money for what he accomplished. When he was done milking me for 10000.00 he referred me to his friend who in turn tried to milk me for another 5000.00 all of this was for a DUI charge that ended up being pleaded out as no contest. Do yourself a favor and shop around there are better "values" for you dollars.

Wrong...this guy is terrible!!! Took all my money and did nothing! I was 3000 miles away and he blamed me for not doing the paperwork fast enough even though he never answers the phone! He said to not fill it out until I call him and then ignored my phone calls for a month. 2 phone calls aday for a month!! This guy milked 5000+ dollars out of me and did nothing. All I got out of this was a case delayed for 2 years and a bench warrent. What a hack!!! He will sweet talk you at first and ignore you after. BEWARE!!!!

I've known Harlan personally for over 15 years and I have never met a more compassionate and aggressive attorney. He sizzles in the courtroom. I have had the pleasure to work with him on several cases. I will validate the review posted below and agree, Harlan is a great attorney to have on your side of the courtroom. He is well respected in the community.

These reviews are all fake. They were all posted after a front page story broke regarding imcompetence on Mr Antler's part during a Felony Trial. This is a case he is still fighting. He is an amazing attorney and has helped my family for more then 10 years now. From my cousin to my uncle. He has never let us down. You can't blame him for a his rude secretary. He was listed as one of the top DUI attorneys in the country and is requested by local news stations all the time for commentary. So these reviews are absolutely untrue.

This guy is awful. Went to him for a DUI...He took my 5000.00 plus an additionan 500.00 for his investigator. Investigator talked to me on the phone for 10 minutes. said there was nothing he could do then charged my 350.00 for the time?? Harlan was unreachable by phone...his rude secretary would field the calls and then essentially tell my Harlan would get back to me. Nothing Harlan promised he did. He never even requested discovery or the log records for the POS machine. (all of which he promised)...After 2 failed court appearances...2 continuances filed without letting me know what the dates were...I called and asked to switch lawyers. His rude secretary gave me a 150 dollar check back... From 5500 to 150 dollars for doing nothing. My new attorney said looks like he spent a half an an hour on my case...And the way it looked was going to plead me guilty....."WHAT" total crook....complaint filed with the california BAR investigation pending. This guy is the scum of the eart

PLease be aware of this lawyer! Do not make the same mistake as I did. Communication was horrible, took money and did nothing else. If you have the same issues as all the complaints below please do what I am doing and put a complain into the bar. If nothing else at least the bar will be on him and he can stop stealing money from innocent people!!!

Harlan was about worthless in my case. He told me that it would be no problem, took a retainer from me and then did little to nothing to earn it. He was VERY disorganized and didn't seem to have a good grasp on how to deal with my case.
STAY AWAY from this guy unless you want to LOSE!!!
I am considering a complaint to the BAR.

I have to agree with the comment of 8/20/08. I had the same experience with him. I did Google him first, but there was nothing bad at the time. He took my money up front, then simply "disappeared". Wouldn't return my phone calls for months. His assistant always told me he would "call me tomorrow". He never did. His assistant asked me to stop calling,that Mr. Antler WOULD get back to me. He never did UNTIL I left a voice mail releasing him from my case. He called almost immediately. This was after several months of unanswered phone messages. I had an attorney look into what he was doing, and he advised me that Mr. Antler was doing me no favor, and I should find another lawyer as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Antler kept all my money. Discussed a refund of my money, but was told by phone and certified letter that I should actually be charged more because of all the office time I took up trying to get him to return one phone call. I would recommend a court appointed attorney over this guy.

I work with him on a DUI case and had the same problem. To get the job he will tell you everything. I paid him up from and received nothing in return. PLEASE DO NOT USE HIM. My case is still pending, but i feel like i already know my result if I continues to work with him. What so funny I was emailed my court date 1 day prior to court date. I called and he told me if I want to go to trial I would have to look for another lawyer because his doctor stand he doesnt know if he withstand any other trial. I will update you on my result. Not the only client who isnt happy.

Soneone who comes accross very aggresive and who "cares" for initially, once he ropes you in, he will suck you dry for all you are worth. He will push you for a trial and not try to get a good deal for you. At every stage of the process he will tell you he wants more money or "you can find yourself another attorney" He does not do contracts, keeps giving excuses but will take all the money from you - Beware!!
