Ms. Meyer does not look for the truth of a case. She likes to win so she fights to win, even if her client commits perjury in the process. (If you want to commit perjury I guess she's a good choice for you.) I don't think she has any other value system than winning, whether she is on the side of the facts or not. She knows absolutely nothing about domestic abuse cases, absolutely zero. If you are a victim in a marriage like that, don't hire her. Find a family law attorney who specializes in domestic abuse cases or your abuser can and will manipulate the Los Angeles legal system to wipe the floor with you. As impossible as it seems to do when you are victimized, document the abuse somehow, because the Los Angeles legal system will not believe you unless you present photos, audio recordings, transcripts, etc. Your tears and PTSD induced thousand-yard stare will not be comprehended by anyone in the court system, and certainly not by Ms. Meyer.
