it's sad I look at these complaints and it's like I wrote all of them. And to think Quantico and Henderson Hall recommended this lawyer. I started my case with him in 2008 and I'm am still not divorced. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Mr Stone represented me in my divorce. It was like he was hired by my ex instead of me. He is a terrible lawyer.

MR. Stone talks a big game. He acts like he is helping you out, but has his para legal give advice, where you are being charged an exhorbanant price. Ended up paying way more, because he faild to file any paperwork on my behalf. He never provided me an itemized recipt, so that I may find out who was representing me. Do not hire his or any of his associates that are in his firm.

Mr. Stone gives a bad name to lawyers and Marines. He failed to communicate with me and could not be bothered to keep any committments as to when we were supposed to have meetings. He didn't communicate with me and in fact passed the case to another lawyer in his firm who also did not communicate with me who then passed me to another lawyer in the firm who also could not be bothered to call me. I wanted a plan of action and they clearly could not be bothered with communicating with their clients and in fact had their paralegal giving me legal advice. I recommend you go with Ms. Marina Medvin who I went with who provided me with superb legal counsel. In addition, I cannot even get them to refund payment to me and so I will be filing a complaint with the American Bar Association as well as the Virginia Bar.

Knowledgeable for sure, but does not have time for clients, and things carry on far too long. Does not return calls or messages. Came to court with nothing prepared, opening us up to get slam-dunked by the opposition. Wish I had gone with someone else.

Ditto. Messages never returned. Paperwork not getting done until AFTER deadlines, causing delays and additional costs.

He is never prepared. He tells you to come to his office last minute right before the hearing. He has nothing ready. He types half-professional documents in front of you while you are quietly sitting and waiting for him to finish typing. You wait for him for hours and important conversation is only 20 minutes long. You pay for the time when you are waiting for him, too. Nothing but wasting your time and money.
