Absolutely Horrible experience. I paid Roy Scott $3,250 to assist in a simple probate case. Once they received the money, he and his staff stopped responding to my calls and emails. Its been 3 months and nothing has been done. I was forced to hire another attorney and now demanding a full refund of retainer paid his office. His office has yet to respond to my demand letter or turn over case files. A grievance with the Texas State Bar will be filed. Beware of this attorney. The office is very unprofessional and unethical in their business practices.

Mr. Scott charged me a reasonable fee for my divorce and custody fight. It took longer than I thought it should, but the two lawyers did a bunch of discovery and depositions. In the end, my kids are living with me and we are happy. My ex-husband, not so much. I appreciate the work he did for me.

I'm the one who posted the above review. We also hired Roy to represent my wife. We have heard nothing from him. Then yesterday I find out a warrent has been issued for my wife. I had to push him and push him to get mine taken care of. When I tried to push him to get hers taken care of he assured me it would be done. 6 months later my wife has a warrent out for her arrest. They won't return phone calls. The biggest rip-off artist in West Texas!!

This one charged me alot, and I got nothing. He said over the phone my case would be a done deal, just bring the money. That was 6 months ago. Moved out of Texas. Got a letter a day before a hearing, and had to fly down there at last minute. He said he talked to County Attourney and it was all wrapped up. Got a letter Saturday, said a jury trial is scheduled for next week. Never got phone calls, never got them returned. Never got proof that he was doing anything. Never got anything but lies and hassle.
