Mr. Medley was hired to handle my side of a divorce from a physician. My ex was dealing with substance abuse at the time and I was trying to handle this delicately but also to ensure my rights were protected upon the finalization of the divorce. Mr.Medley was also going through a divorce at the time and undoubtedly preoccupied - I now realize, biased and bitter against a woman seeking financial support as he was personally dealing with this. I'd been thru much emotionally prior to leaving my ex & was depending on my atty to handle my side of the divorce ethically (50/50). Instead, he aligned with the opposing attorney and I signed papers with zero of what I was legally entitled to! Instead, he saddled me with $10k debt that WAS NOT mine. Ex got EVERYTHING, inc my own belongings pre-marriage. I had to fight to get custody of our DOGS! I am long since remarried (20+) & realize just how insane my divorce actually was. Mr. Medley should lose his license based on my divorce alone. AVOID!!!

Literally pathetic. I actually got the chance to swear him in and put him on the stand in my case, and you should have seen the sweat pouring down his pudgy bald head. He's a liar and has no problem doing so. His other fav tactic is to tell you (the client) about how "We'll definitely get attorney's fees awarded" knowing damn well that you won't get that. But guess what - he just got PAID. Which is all he cares about.

Complete scumbag, as evidenced by the other reviews. A complete liar, with absolutely zero regard for the law. If you'll pay him enough, he'll try for anything and break any law necessary to get it for you. Your kids are the least of his concern. I'll pray for you Mark, as you will most SURELY answer for this one day.

Same story here. Took the money, then didn't even bother to subpoena the emergency room medical records for the restraining order hearing! Of course it was thrown out, and the court prejudiced against us. The medical records were very clear. The child has no hope. Whether he hates work, or hates children, your kids will pay with their bodies if you hire him.

The most dishonest attorney I've ever worked with. Told another court that there was no pending case in San antonio when he was involved in that very case. And this guy is on the ethics committee for the bar association. He should be barred.

Terrible, terrible. You would think that he was paying you instead of the other way around. Goes weeks and weeks without returning calls. Then, the secretary calls you the day before to ask if you know that you're suppose to be in court the next day. Called and called, e-mailed tons of info concerning my case, and when we got to court he turned to me and asked what is that you want? Billed me over &200 for a court appearance that he didn't even make. Billed me time for reading all the e-mails I sent, but couldn't tell me what any of them said. Fired him. Took the loss and found a professional lawyer.

In my opinion Mark Medley takes advantage of hardworking individuals in their time of loss. He was not honest with me about my case when I went to him because my ex-husband abused my child during the summer visit. Mark told me what I wanted to hear and told me he could get his summer visitations reduced and supervised. At my first restraining order hearing he tells me he could not represent me because he was going to be out for 2wks and couldn't rearrange his schedule, which he didn't tell me this when I retained him, this consequently cost me more money. He is impossible to get a hold of, I would leave many messages with his office and staff! He does not fight for his client, he is rude and unprofessional, making you feel like he is working for the other side, I have recently fired him from my case and in search of another attorney to correct what he screwed up! If you value your money, family, and time, LOOK FOR ANOTHER ATTORNEY THAT CARE MORE ABOUT PEOPLE THAN CASHING A CHECK!

Very dishonest attorney, in my opinion. He took $15,000 CASH from me .. my husband got very ill, and though I had seen Medley for divorce, I withdrew a few days after signing papers. They were NEVER served on my husband, and I had to plead and plead and plead with him to even get back $5,000 of the total cash amount of $15,000. He STILL OWES ME about $7,000 plus since he did nothing except turn in the one set of papers. I understand from my present attorney he should be disbarred, and I am filing complaint on Medley for keeping my hard earned money, as he only worked a few hours. Do NOT go to this guy at all .. he's a rip off .. in my opinion.
