Poor comminication from the beginning. He's all about making deals which most of them leave the client in some kind of hard ship for multiple years. His associate who repesented me was late to court the day I had trial. They talk big talk but don't walk it.

When it comes to Denton's Good Ol Boy Network - you cant do better than Rick Hagen. Actually, when it comes to criminal defense in Denton County - you CANT do better than Rick Hagen.

Without a doubt, I am dismayed at the incredible disdain Rick Hagen shows for his clients. At times, he failed to communicate with his client, despite the client's repeated attempts, for more than two and half months (and still counting). There are numerous outstanding lawyers in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, but in my opinion, this is not one of them. Case law and questions have been brought to his attention by the client's family instead of the lawyer. He has, in this writer's opinion, failed to meet even the most basic requirements of representation. Moreover, for this lack of responsiveness, Mr. Hagen will charge an astronomical amount, trading on his ability to pay for listings in publications in Dallas that supposedly list the most qualified lawyers in the area. Further investigation has found, these rankings are based upon the ad space purchased by the firm. It seems quite obvious, Jackson and Hagen has purchased quite a bit.
