I worked for this man for a brief period of time. It broke my heart to see how badly he treated his clients. I put a check on his desk for nearly 20,000 and in 15 minutes he lost it. We never found it again and had to submit another. He lost everything in his hands. We waited til he was in court to go thru the mail and take out important notices before he lost them. Most of his clients were completely furious and we paid the price. Whoever used the computer at the window was on "Harry Watch" so we would have some notice before he walked in the door. He was constantly in trouble with other attorneys. They could not believe how bad he was. I once had to get the Assistant DA in Tucson to help with a document because he couldn't be bothered. I had to get help from the opposing side!!! How insane is tat?

He was so incompetent he couldn't even get my name right. He lost me $9000 a year for 7 years in alimony plus he screwed up so bad I was forced to pay my ex husbands attorney's fees!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS IDIOT!

Harry has been awesome. He's helped me a lot. Harry seems to care about people. Mr Freidlander is a graduate of Georgetown university, a top 15 rated law school. This lawyer has the shortest attention span of anyone I ever met. This should have been sufficient warning of the total disaster that would become my court hearing. He failed digest any of the information given to him, he failed to issue subpoenas, he failed to file court papers on time and totally failed to keep me informed. He also failed to copy to me any papers that he submitted to the court and even failed to send me the final judgment, until I called his office to demand a copy.
Court records showed that issues that I wanted settled in court were not even mentioned in the paperwork that he had submitted. Accordingly, the issues were not even considered by the Judge, leaving me to start again with a new lawyer at huge expense. I was totally misrepresented by this lawyer with poor quality, inaccurate paperwork.
I cannot think of a single redeeming quality that would encourage me to recommend this lawyer.

This Attorney told me one things in his office and than in a Court he completely different and was very much friendly with opposite side, it weird isn’t. He always afraid that his client can recorder his conversation in his office. He is not truthful and you never will see your money back it for sure. Do not hire and do not pay.

This guy is worthless. We have been waiting for 1 month for some paperwork regarding custody and he just can't get it together. Every time we call, he acts like he doesn't know who we are. He said he lost his notes on what we needed. If we leave a message, he never calls us back. Go elsewhere! There is a reason why he doesn't charge as much as other attorny's.

Harry did nothing that he said that we would do for us. All he wanted was the money. We had so much evidence in our favor and even his paralegal Margo was shocked at the ruling. He NEVER did anything that he said he was going to so when it came to questioning people on the stand. I don't think that he even remembered why we were in court. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HIM. A court appointed attorney would have done a better job

I am very disappointed to say the least! He is like they say, terrible at answering/returning phone calls and emails but his staff in particular Margo was great. I imagine she has her work cut oout for her, working for him. I was sooo completely destroyed and still am since the ruling of our very important court date which Harry seemed 0% prepared for! The other lawyer was very prepared and aggressive, Harry sucked and I feel like I wasted a lot of money that I dont/didnt have on him. Do yourself a favor and go to someone else if you are considering him!

i am not sure why there are so many comments , but the nine of you i am sorry for you experience i am a client in a high prifile case against a city official and he is doing a great job thus far. he and his staff have done all i have asked and continue to do so .9 bad reviews is troublesome , but when I take into account that he has 1000s of cases he is doing pretty well . keep up the good work harry ...lets go get em !

I hired Mr. Friedlander during my divorce in 2003. He came highly recommended, but was I in for a surprise. He never fought for what was in "my" best interest. He was so uninterested in my case, and he actually sided with my ex literally giving him what he wanted to "make things easier for me" he claimed and to quickly end the process. In hindsight, looking back I realize how little he did and how much he compromised "my best interest", just to quickly get my case closed and without any or little effort on his part. It is obvious I am not the only one who has been affected by this person's lack of interest and laziness & I now live daily with the decisions that were made by him 7 years ago. I don't understand why he is still practicing given his track record. I just hope future potential clients research him prior to retaining his services, so they have the ability to walk away before it is too late & they fall victim to this man's unprofessionalism.

This guy is terrible. Run! He is one of the laziest people I have every come across. Comunication is very poor. He does not return phones calls or emails ever and then trys to pass the buck that he has been unable to contact you. He is also very impersonable and rude. He has a dry sence of humor and thinks he is funny when actually he is insulting and can be mean. His office staff is much the same. I imagine because they take alot of flake for this guys incompetence. Incomptence - he makes more mistakes than you can imagine. You are constantly checking what he has done. Isn't that why we hired a lawyer. And talk about SLOW (like I said very, very lazy) He really doesn't want to do anything. However he has no problem taking your money. Like I said RUN, keeping looking. This guy is a disaster

I am disabled and had a shoddy pool put in. I hired Mr. Friedlander. He promised to take my case to Superior Court for 3x the amount of the pool for damages. He never did. I got a judgment for $10,000 in Civil court but did it on my own, he showed up to represent me..now he says he can't collect it after almost a year of me waiting. Oh yes, I signed an agreement for 1/3 settlement when we won in superior court. He does nothing! He is so intimidating on the phone..I am working with the ROC and he screwed that up too! 3 years later, out $2,500 for retainer and another bill for his costs, $2556, and I haven't got a dime to fix my pool. I am contacting the State Bar..he was to go to my recovery fund hearing at the ROC...he didn't show till after it was over...my case was dismissed after 3 years of waiting and all the money put I out! I picked Sweetwater pools...a scam artist and then to top it off, Mr Friedlander who I thought I could really trust, I never hired an Atty before.

He needs his license taken away. He is a horrible lawyer. He never respond to the other partys lawyer, he would never respond to you his client. Day before court he would meet with you for 10minutes and that was it. In our trial he never sat down and talked with my witness and when they were on the stand they didnt know what to do, say or act. He let them sit there like a deer in headlights. He lied about representing us to the full end, he took our money and never did****. He is very lazy, very laid back and just care to get your money. DO NOT USE HIM and we too were recommended by a woman who said he was good. If your refer to being a stump on a log, he is good then.

OMG! I thought it was just me. I totally feel like I was riped off and taken advantage of at a very vulnerable time in my life. Harry Friedlander sucks as a lawyer.We attended court and caught him looking at my behind.He didn't even remember my name while representing me in court. I'm not satisfied and would like a new lawyer, one that has heart and does his/her job!! Any suggestions??

I was referred to Mr Friedlander by 2 different women who said he was "great". He quoted me an amount for the entire divorce and has since sent me statements for billable hours and services on top of what I paid up front! Is this legal?

HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING IN COURT..NO COMMUNICATION, AND SEEMED TO ALWAYS SIDE WITH THE OPPSING PARTY AND NOT MY INTEREST. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS LAWYER. HE JUST TOOK MY MONEY AND i'VE HAD POOR SERVICES FROM THIS LAWYER.
