If you want to pay through the nose for an attorney who is nothing more than a terrible negotiator Jennifer Moore is the attorney for you! Even when you provide her the case law law to support your stance she'll push you to accept a settlement that is little more than scraps. So if you want an attorney that you'll pay (dearly) to help your ex win then go sign up today!

Jennifer Moore takes limited responsibility and blames client for her mistakes; quoted me one price in the office after a consultation but took no action for almost a month. When called to task, she demanded more money before any action would be taken even though I had a receipt of payment per our agreement.
She then sent me a draft of a standardized form letter that that had major content and formatting errors. Although it arrived to late to be used, I’m thankful it was never sent because of the embarrassment her representation would have caused. A totally worthless transaction because of her inefficiencies, poor communication skills, and absence of quality control in her work. For those wanting quality legal services, my “opinion” is go anywhere but to Jennifer Moore.

This attorney should be reported to the bar. She never did anything but bill me.

Jennifer Moore is incompetent, a self proclaimed burnt out individual who has no power or ability to put up a good fight and advocate for her clients. Its sad that she continues to practice knowing that she doesnt give 100%. It would be in your best interest not to hire her as your advocate .

BEWARE of this attorney!!! She's very incompetent! She dragged out my simple case for 16 months. She would not return or accept a call from me for 3 1/2 months while I emailed and called for weeks in frustration. She filed for a jurisdictional change which wasn't even legal, and charged me for it! The judge was so disgruntled with her, he asked her what legal code she used when filing this action, she shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. At the court house, she recommended that I accept a horrible offer in which my ex-husband would only have to pay 20% of what he owed because she was worried that the judge was going to dismiss the case due to her incompetent filing. If I had accepted that settlement, it would have only been enough to pay Jennifer her legal fees and would have left me walking away with $0. I'm reporting her to the NC Bar on Monday morning!

I concur. There is little to add except that this attorney likes to drag things on and DOES not communicate. Example one of many-I was called to appear in court, she was late, we were not on the docket. It appears there are few good/great attorneys in Asheville. Especially female attorneys. There is a definite 'good ole boy' network here and the female attorneys are either in the club or afraid to rock the boat. Nothing but dissapointment. This attorney is young and I have often had to come to her with information to have my needs met. Second example, asked for Child Support Motion to be filed in November 2009, still no child support. Third and final, asked for a change of venue. Response, I don't like working in that county.

If you want to pay a lot of money for nothing she's the attorney for you. Unorganized, appeared at hearings that she didn't need to,lacking knowledge of court procedures, and there will be little communication after your retainer check clears. I am posting this review to hopefully save others time and the same fate. I had to hire another atty to actually get done what I hired and paid her to do.
