I almost died from an accident and instead of the police looking for my welfare after I called them myself they accused me of impaired driving…. Mr. Farooq believed my story from day one and stuck to it until the end and won my acquittal. The professional staff he has employed are the best money can hire. Any lawyer who claims to be an expert on everything from civil to criminal to family law is simply letting you know they’re in it to get money from the maximum number of clients and then provide them lousy service and results. Everything about him from the way he deals with his staff to how he discloses details of his other clients cases to his use of unprofessional language is should be screaming at you to get out of there and find a better lawyer. I found zero redeeming qualities in this individual and would highly recommend keeping in mind that a lawyer with such attributes is also likely to have a bad reputation with judges and other lawyers, thus compromising your chances of the best possible outcome.

I was referred to him by a friend and oh boy does he fight hard for you. He takes each case personally as if it was his own case and will take full responsibility till the end. He will not abandon you if your criminal situation or your financial situation is dire. No lawyer have I seen works as hard as this man. He works all weekends, weekdays till 3am and it even got me worried about his health at some point. His rates are reasonable and he will take care of you till the end and he's a good human being most of all. He's a very good person and very pleasant to be around with. For any criminal charges, go to him, he is almost invincible in criminal law.

Anser aggressively and competently defended me in my criminal trial for assault (3 separate charges). He was always prepared and commanded respect in the courtroom. However, he is difficult to get a hold of, not detail oriented, and extremely arrogant. His office never contacted me unless it was to ask for more money or to do this review. It was up to me to contact them for status updates and information. In the end, I was satisfied with his work because he got the job done as he successfully had one of the charges thrown out and I was acquitted of the remaining charges.

I was charged with assault causing bodily injury to my wife, because her 4 front teeth got knocked out (A long story how this happened), and if convicted, JAIL TIME NO DOUBT ABOUT for at least 24 months. Ex-wife unilaterally stopped access to my child for over a month. Made up lots of nonsense about abusing the child and child being in danger. Came armed with letters from doctors, family workers, etc. Alhamdulillah, Anser was able to get the judge to see key evidences showing that child wanted to see the father and was in no danger at all. Judge ruled in our favour and cost was awarded.

Just finished up an 8 month case with Mr. Farooq. This was a case dealing with theft over $5000 from a charitible organization. Regardless of the fact I made many self-defeating statements and continually made the case worse for myself, Mr. Farooq was still able to get me off with no jail time. His insistance on my performing community service as well as other methods of restitution resulted in only receiving a period of probation and court-ordered counselling. Mr. Farooq was able to secure 50/50 split access for me after my estranged wife denied access to my 3 year old daughter for over 3 months. Madame Justice Donahue, Superior Court Of Justice, Brampton made the decision today where she Ordered weekly access for me and the mother, providing me 50/50 access. The court also Ordered the mother to pay costs for denying access. Mr Farooq's dedication and hard work on my case resulted in success. He truly understood my pain of not being able to see my daughter for over 2 months.

My husband falsely accused me for stabbing him multiple times and threat to kill him. The Crown was asking for jail and serious penalties against me. Anser was one of many lawyers involved in the Toronto 18 case. Not only did he facilitate bail for several of the accused, he succeeded in getting the charges stayed in my husband's case. He was able to understand the cultural and religious misrepresentations of the so called evidence, and by keeping my husband on task with his own case, the two of them were able to use the crown's own disclosure of evidence to prove my husband's innocence. And all those crooks are not worth the nail on Ansers toes. His prices are fair and he delivers results on time. First of all, Anser is a god fearing man. I was charged with assaulting my wife. She made up a story about how i broke her finger, scratched and bruised her. I was charged with theft and breach of trust from my employer, WalMart. The Crown wanted to give me a criminal record and argued that the court of appeal says the starting point for my punishment in breach of trust case is jail. Mr. Farooq argued to get me a conditional discharge. He used a case he had previously argued in which the judge gave a conditional discharge. and Mr. Farooq persuaded the Court that I too should be given a conditional discharge. I did not end up with a criminal record.

I was charge with discharging a firearm into a motor vehicle with three passengers and facing a 3 year minimum sentence. Mr. Farooq got me bail and a year later at the preliminary inquiry the case was withdrawn by the crown. Astounding result and I am forever grateful. A conviction for dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident could have made life very difficult. Mr. Farooq was able to resolve the case by convincing the Crown that the circumstances surrounded the charges did not amount to the charges. The Crown withdrew the charges. Mr. Farooq has helped me tremendously in my diffiicult situation. I called him in distress on the weekend and within a short time he listened to me and gave me the next day appointment.
