Brendan was not our attorney, but he was my ex's in our divorce case. We went to court and everything went fine. When it came time to write up the judgment, he did it, but before he submitted it he would send it to me so I could object, He sent me at least 10 different versions of the judgment, all were incorrect I had to object each time. In the end, even though my objection was in writing, he went ahead and filed the judgment anyway, Since the hearing was recorded, it was obvious that my objection was justified, and it took a lot of hours and money to fix it. He is a crook.

I hired Brendan Enright in July 2014 to help me with my divorce. You can't tell me that he didn't know at that time that he would be retiring and closing his office in November. He knew I was very limited financially. I paid the retainer fee and started making monthly payments to him electronically. A few months later he told me his office would be closing, but he would still be available to help me. Next thing I knew, he was retiring completely, and was no longer available to help me. He "referred" me to another attorney I could hire to replace him, but I would have to pay another retainer, etc, which he knew up front I could not afford. In January, I received an invoice with several thousand dollars of additional charges he told me he "just found" and started being charged interest, even though my payments come out automatically and the funds have ALWAYS been there on time. The agreement I signed states that interest would be charged on "past due" accounts only. CROOK!

Ya, so he closed. We have an open bankruptcy case with him. Paid $1400 and now he is gone. Crooked jerk!

I was in crisis when I reached Brendan for initial legal advice. He listened patiently and compassionately then helped me put my situation into much clearer perspective and, ultimately, guided me toward the best course of action. His humor put me at ease and I am really thankful and impressed by his insight into the law and legal process. He is professional and very experienced while also being down-to-earth. He is clearly in this line of work to help people and families. He was a great ally to have and I would recommend him to my friends and family (though I hope I won't have to).

My situation was similar to past reviews. I've had trouble with Mr. Enright since I started using his services. The first meeting I had with him went great! However, soon enough he and his employees we not returning phone calls or emails. It wasn't until I sent three certified letters demanding a response after I I was sent to pre-collections for a bill I NEVER received. Finally when I did get a response I was told I could make payments to pay off my balance. I sent those checks certified. Before they received the checks I was sent a bill with an extra hundred dollars added to it. The bookkeeper stated we had talked and planned for set amounts and dates for this bill to be paid, which was not at all the case. Aurora Law office is extremely unorganized. I would not recommend this lawyer AT ALL. I am very disappointed with Aurora Law.

Did not follow up. Did not present statements which would have helped me in divorce. Did not negotiate or attempt negotiation with other parties to settle before trial. Arrived at courthouse 2 min before trial was to begin. We then went through income numbers. He mis-calculated my alimony payments by $1000/mo. He did not ask fo any compensation for everything I gave up. Bottom line, "She got the goldmine, I got the shaft."

We hired him 4 years ago or so--and he was the absolute most horrible, fraudulant attorney that took advantage of my family at a desperate time. We had known him for years and trusted him--and he turned our lives upside down. He simply was hired to complete paper work for us for a non-contested change of custody. Very simple. I was just going to do it myself but didn't have the time so I just paid him to do it. Very simple. Both parties were in full agreement--so it was just a matter of filing papers. Brendan Enright--without our consent or knowledge, filed an emergency change of custody with the judge claiming the kids were in immediate danger with their bio mother, lied to us about what the hearing was for, refused to explain what we were signing, and demanded we pay him $1000 before he would talk to us again. It turned into a nightmare and ulitmately I had to do the paperwork my self AND pay this idiot $600.00. We fired him. He is incredibly unethical and I would not trust him as fa

Back in March I had hired Brendan Enright as my lawyer to file bankruptcy. Throughout the past 3 months I have had too many problems to count.
Like any person going through bankruptcy I had questions before the final court date.Whenever I called no one would answer and it would take them days to call back, if I e-mailed it took even longer. I sent a total of 10 e-mails and called and left about 6 messages during the 3 months and only after I sent and e-mail threatening to sue them for not doing their jobs was I contacted back.
They didn't send a map for the day of my hearing so I was late and he had his assistant show up who was more late than myself.
So over all I am wondering what the hell I paid $1400 for and plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
