During MESP conference Davis forgot to present $54K marital debt he’d discussed w/me as recently as the night before. He also discussed debt w/opposition prior to conference and it was agreed that ex was responsible for half. Once panel made it's suggestion based on limited information they'd received, opposition would no longer consider debt. After getting into a personal argument w/opposition and leaving courtroom, Davis removed himself from my case forcing me to hire new attorney. Davis mistakenly sent me a final/duplicate invoice 10 days after sending the first. I was well within the 30-day time frame his contract states to pay and had paid all previous invoices on time. Suspiciously, all charges on duplicate invoice were raised. Davis will tell you MESP only makes a recommendation. However, recommendation would have been $27K less in my favor and I could have settled that day for less than I did weeks later w/new attorney as my ex stated she was agreeable to panel's suggestion.

Excellent Family lawyer...highly recommend David. Handled my divorce in 2008 and didn't rake me over the coals.

Did my uncontested divorce for $1000 with the filing fee - I couldn't find anyone else who would have take a retainer that low (all wanted $2500 & up). I referred someone who didn't have an uncontested case - nightmare custody & support case. After a couple of motions (which he won), he managed to calm everyone down and reached a fair settlement without bankrupting everyone. In a field filled with snakes, it's good to find a decent Family Lawyer.
