Avoid this attorney. He is inapprooriate and overly personal toward women. He doesnt care about clients and cant be trusted. See how many times hes been in trouble. Just worried about his attorney fees.

This guy is a compulsive liar. And a vicious individual. Why on earth anyone would trust their business or legal affairs to an obvious sociopath is beyond me. Avoid this guy at all costs. I wouldn't let him work for me for free let alone pay him for it. Use extreme caution with this atty. he's been suspended over and over.

I hired Fred in July of 2012, & he charged me a $7,500. retainer fee, but was suspended in October when the court agreed with the Board of Professional Responsibility, which said Hanzelik neglected clients' cases, failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness and failed to communicate adequately with his clients.(I copied that off the website to make sure I said everything correctly, so I had to hire his son Ryan, & pay him another retainer fee. Fred then had the nerve to send me a bill for another $23K, & then put a restraining order on me for harassment when I demanded an explanation for why on heavens earth had he failed to share a message that I sent him back in July of 2012 w/the judge because it described what a violent uncontrollable temper my ex-husband has, in that he viciously beat me when I was 22 weeks pregnant with our son, & it was Fred's failure to share that message with judge Bolton that resulted in her awarding my ex-husband as my son's primary guardian

This man charged us $6500 to research our case to see if we had a malpractice case. He said he would take the file with him on a cruise he had scheduled and would get back to us. 2 weeks later we had to call him. He met with us once. Told us we might have a case but said it would cost 60 - 70,000 dollars and was "iffy'" He gave us info of how attys have friends in the business that would vouch for them. Things that had nothing to do with our case. Another lawyer told us he overcharged. Requests to meet with him about it or send back part of his fee got us no where. BEWARE!

Excellent Attorney, my business attorney for over 25 years and he always has done an excellent job. I would highly recommend.Very professional, most cases were bankruptcy and he always got us top dollar, he even helped me out on some personal problems.I have known mr Hanzelik a long time and he is one of the best attorneys in chattanooga, my sister works in the legal system and she also would highly recommend mr hanzelik

My father in law has an suit going on for 3 yrs now. He has paid him over $20,000 for nothing. When they try to get hold of him either by phone or email he want answer. He may have call them bout 2 times. The Board of Professinal in Nashville, TN need to get hold of him. Also he has not given them no print out of what he has done and they have asked him for one.

This attorney was given a $1500.00 retainer fee to assist with buy out of a real estate contract. He made one phone call, would not responded to e-mails or calls regarding activity on case. Bottom line realator never received any other calls from Atty. After several months, we resolved the issue ourselves. We requested a refund of our money, since the requested services were not provided. To this date we have not been refunded our money. I would not recommend this man to anyone!!!!
