I think Chris Heberg is an excellent attorney, he is professional, confident, and caring. He handled my divorce in 2009, and I thank god I had him on my side! I have called him for questions and advice through the years and he's always prompt returning my calls. I recently hired him this year for a child support issue, and once again , I was not disappointed.

Mr Heberg represented an ex in a divorce case and actually swore at me and flipped me off. How's that for professionalism. Soaked the ex for 30G in fees.

Pompous, incompetent,greedy, insensitive, did I say incompetent? The only time my calls got returned promptly were when his bill was involved. Every time I called to clarify a position/status during 4 long years I got "I'll have to look at your file, and get back to you", and the next bill had a charge for him to remember where we were exactly. The most irritating thing was when questioned why he did not argue FOR me, his constant come back was "you told me not to contest it". I never did that. Why did I hire a lawyer, if I wanted to give it all to my ex wife, on a platter? I heard from another lawyer that he goes golfing regularly, with the opposing (ex wife's) lawyer AND (get this),with the judge. No conflict of interest there? In short, I regret ever hiring this lawyer. Bad news all around.

guy no more then just a jerk,fees unbelivable high, charging you when he is even not in court,very unprofessional screaming in court room get judge pissing off un top of everything make back deals with oposing counsel to charge more and more ,would not hire him.

looks like my ex husband gave him a good rating , because they are buddies, the guy is a pompous, arrogant p-o-s who should be disbarred when as a guardian at litem he respresented my son but was friends with my husband Big time conflict of interest!

My experience with Chris was great. He follows-up immediately. He is not cheap, but I felt his knowledge of the RI Family Court system was worth it. I had a very favorable result.

ANTI-WOMAN LAWYER!A nasty little twit who is so Pro Father, no matter what the circumstances are. He will not put true facts into a report, lies against women, and truly beleives that Children belong with the father.... cause times have changed. Even if the father is a loser, abuser, filthy and a criminal. I can only imagine how this twit treats his wife. No fair deal with this immature daddy's boy. Told me, as a client, that if he divorced his wife, she would have "no Custody" nice guy huh? Mr hollow words does not even know how to spell correctly in his court papers. So Women beware not to hire him, he will not do a good custody case. Men go ahead hire him, but better look into his track record, he is not a winnner in a court of law!!!
