If you're deaf don't even bother calling because they will turn you away. They don't want to pay for sign language interpreter even though they are required by Americans with Disabilities Act to do so. I was referred to them through my employer's legal service for a free 30-minute legal consultation. Of course, they refused to accept my relay service call simply because I was deaf! This should be a major warning sign to any potential clients interested in their services. The firm does not have any conscience and is only in it for your money.

I chose Lyn Conniff as my lawyer because I thought that she would help me get as much time with my girls as possible. I wasn't disappointed. Lyn was patient but persistent. I now see my teenage girls more than I ever imagined. Then my wife did not want to let me have even a fare share of our assets. Again Lyn was patient with my wife's unreasonable demands. Lyn left no stone unturned. She is worth every penny. When I think of what it would have cost me if Lyn had not been my advocate, I shudder. Her attention to detail is amazing. And I found her staff just as available and helpful as she was.

I hired this attorney for a high conflict custody case. The billing, at $275/hour, was truly excessive. In three months I have paid > $10,000 and the custody case has only just begun. Time spent writing motions consists of 5-10 hours apiece and I have found numerous errors in these documents which had to be corrected (and I was also billed for these corrections); preparation is hurried and last-minute; and this attorney is not fully focused on each individual case because she is trying to juggle multiple cases. There are excessive charges for reading emails, speaking on the phone with her paralegals, researching child custody, and speaking with other attorneys at cocktail parties while charging for "research." Not enough attention to detail and to the facts of my individual case. There is too much at stake in a custody case to let this attorney bleed you dry and not be fully prepared for each court encounter. If you value your children and your bank account, do not hire her.
