My experience as a client of Dan Halper over the past five years has been one that's redeeming to my faith in attorneys. Dan Halper has exhibited nothing short of the highest level of professionalism from the court room to conference calls. I have found his fees to be very reasonable, his attentiveness exceptional, and an ethic second to none. The myriad of fields to which Mr.Halpers's legal knowledge exists leaves me continuing to regularly recommend his services to friends and co-workers; as I would to anyone taking his practice under consideration for hire.

Dan Halper is an excellent lawyer. He helped my family in a case with the NYC government vis-a-vis my grandfather and my grandfather's injury due to building maintenance negligence. He is a diligent, highly intelligent and trustworthy lawyer, which is a rare find. I would recommend using him to anyone who might need his legal services.

I am an elderly resident of the East Village. My slumlord tried to evict me because I am on a 30 year rent control lease. I am on a fixed income and Dan appeared in court more than 7 times free of charge. He also sued my slumlord to force him to make repairs that were needed for over 10 years that the slumlord refused to make because I do not pay enough rent. He also helped my neighbors fight the same slumlord. One lady was visiting her husband with Alzheimer’s in the hospital in Puerto Rica and the slumlord tried to claim she did not really live in her rent controlled unit. The slumlord even claimed he was the super because the super refused to cooperate with his scam. Dan won the case and continues to help me and many of my neighbors for low fees, often for free. I have never met a nicer person who is a lawyer.

I have worked with Dan Halper on multiple occassions and have been extremely satisfied with his work, legal knowledge, payment options, responsiveness and excellent advice. He has represented me as a co-plantiff in Federal Court dealing with music copyright issues, advised me with issues relating to my will and estate, and helped handle all of my personal affairs while I was out of the country in order to bring my fiance's child backc to America. Dan has also recommended other attorneys to me for friends that needed representation in housing court and those situations have gone extremely well for all involved. Dan Halper is an outstanding attorney; I still work with him now and will continue to do so into the future.

Dan Halper also took my money and never did any legal work for me. He missed the deadline to submit a response to an EEOC complaint that I filed against my former employer. As a result of this my case was thrown out. Please contact me at photo_webmaster@yahoo.com. I will pay the $350 filing fee in federal court so that we can file a joint action with any other persons who have complaints against him Dan Halper.

Do not use Dan Halper under any circumstances! I live on limited disability benefits. I have not held a real job in 15 years. I met Dan for help with my legal cases and needs. He knew that I came from a prominent legal family and had also turned down law school. The lawyers in my family disowned me due to my psychiatric and learning disabilities. Dan already knew from the very start that I was permanently and severely mentally disabled. He pretended to be friends with me. He did not ever do any acutal legal work. He charged me thousands of dollars in checks and cash for legal consultations leading to absolutely nothing at all. He made my cases even worse off leaving them to do myself. Dan Halper lies about everything. He is abusive. He does not care at all. I have had some attorneys that were my real friends, actually do great work, and help me out in life. Dan is the opposite and nothing like this.
