Atty. Laben is highly professional, takes the time to review the issue, listen carefully, and respond fully. He inspires confidence and calm throughout the often intimidating court system. As a therapist, I referred many clients to Adam for his quiet, supportive, and strong presence, invaluable to those in need of an experienced and knowledgeable lawyer. The results obtained for my clients often went beyond what they expected, especially in divorce situations. He is willing to sit, listen, and defend. Adam is my own attorney and recently represented my husband and me as plaintiffs in a small claims case. The result was better than we had hoped and the experience was much less stressful than anticipated, due to his presence. I have worked with him in the past and recommend him without reservation.

Horrible - No communication - He seemed to agree with the other side on everything. Months would go by with no communication- yet I still got billed. If you called with questions his partner Ansell would yell at you. Stay away

I contacted the Firm Ansell & Laben regarding an ongoing custody matter. Ms.Ansell was quick to sell her firm on all the wonderous victories they had which closely resembled mine and assured me they would be the best in town. She turned my case over to her partner Mr. Laben whom, in my opinion, never made it out of the gate. He took his time in reopening my case which cost me dearly (timing was crtical) and then appeared to just coast through the formalities. The man never was interested in any information I had to bolster my case, and in fact turned things around as if he was for the opposition. When it finally came down to the final hearing, I was never apprised of a date or prepared in any way. Needless to say, my strong case was suddenly very weak and my opponent was victorious in all facets. During his final remarks when the judge asked why he failed to respond to some of my opponent's inquiries, he openly admitted he was on vacation! It was if I was never represented at all.
