A friend of mine recommended Mr. Mullen and I'm glad I found him. He is honest, experienced and very knowledgable. From what I've heard, he is a very well respected lawyer in Nanaimo and I can see why.

If there were lower ratings to set I would mark his firm as a huge minus in all the lower catagories. He is deceptive, over charging, poor litigator, communication is extremely poor amongest many other failing attributes. The firm is poor on showing hourly rates or proving value for expenses. Poor representation. This firm needs to be investigated by the Canadian Law courts and appropriate overseers. Would never ever recommend him to anyone other than my opponents.

I wish I would've heeded the third review on this site before seeing Mullen. He isn't upfront about charges, and his billing seems to be arbitrary (and excessive), services are not prompt. If you are looking for professional and prompt work, DON'T go to Mullen. I've had many other lawyers work for me in the past, so in comparison, he was a mistake. His secretary doesn't help matters either, as her skills at recording personal contact information and returning calls are clearly lacking.

Misrepresented,poor advice,overcharged.Found out after the fact that his reputation was terrible,according to my (too late) sources.Will be complaining to the Law Society to protect others.
