I have taken several classes that Mr. Dort have provided for our local Resource and Referral Agency for children, families and child care providers. He is an excellent teacher and allowed us to really understand and prevent liability and lawsuits due to negligence. He provided a great deal of feedback that was relevant to our work, reviewed and re-wrote our contracts free of charge! This would have cost me a fortune. I am very grateful for his help with our business contracts and policies in dealing with our parents (clients). I am also very grateful that he continues to help businesses like mine by always being available to give us legal answers to liabilities we face in working with children, parents and families.

Mr. Christopher Dort has proven time and time again to be an excellent attorney, adept in handling problems at a moments notice and skilled in producing positive results. Although he could soften things up a bit (esp. if you're sensitive like me), he does not waste time and will be completely honest and upfront with you. He is a busy man, but I was always able to count on him to fight hard for me. He is an A+ attorney and I highly recommend him!

I recently retained the services of Christopher Dort to handle my father's legal case. In contrast to some of the reviews I saw posted here, I had a very positive experience. The attorney is very knowledgeable, quickly adapted to a changing legal landscape we were faced with, and kept his cool through this process. I appreciated that he took the time to listen and understand the specifics of the case and alleviating circumstances, and incorporate that in his strategy of dealing with it. Email communication was just fine with us and worked well, but I also had a phone number available in case it was needed. Overall, I found the attorney very personable throughout, and know I made the right choice.

Attorney Christopher Dort Here. This site sucks ass. We have tried, over and over, to respond to these complaints one by one on this site. And it is impossible. they have no interest in allowing responses to anonymous complaints. I deal with criminals, and that produces complaints, because everyone things they are innocent. We have tried over and over again to get this site to allow real responses, but no luck. They do not want us responding. Want real info? Check out google local listings and/or http://www.Dortlaw.com.

his blog does appear to give good information, and one would think that it would be used as a means to find new clients and expand your business, but after a week of emailing him, inquiring about his rates and billing practices, I was disappointed to have received no response. I'm starting to wonder if he is no longer practicing law, as the phone numbers he has listed in his contact info are no longer in service. After reading several other comments in various threads of others who share this sentiment of disappointment at his lack of communication, i quickly realized i wasn't an isolated incident. If you're going to present yourself on the internet as willing to offer help, and then leave your customers out to dry when they need you most, that is a surefire way to ensure a bad reputation pretty quickly. it makes you look even more like a scam artist when the contact numbers you have listed are not in service. how can you expect to run a respectable business like that?

I paid him a retainer, spoke to him one time on the phone, sent him documents by e-mail and I never heard from him again. This guy is a disgraceful attorney. I had to file a complaint with the CA state bar about him. He lied to them and told them he refunded my money. He never did, Beware this guy is a thief and should be dis-bared.

Hired Chris after several phone & email communications, he's very intelligent & knows the court systems well. After employing Chris (paying intitial retainer)its been two weeks to re schedule minor traffic violations & quash warrants & he's MIA, can't get a call in to him & can't get a call back. Emailed him several times nothing...
