I am personally disgusted by this attorney and do not know how he can sleep at night defending the worst of the worst offenders, women batterers and known repeat drunk drivers who try to flee the scene and are out drinking and drugging night after night while out on bail that he helped secure. Keep getting people off sir until they kill their victim or someone else in the community. Did it ever occur to you that perhaps if these people spent some time in jail awaiting their trials that they would actually repent and feel bad about what they did? If you're looking for someone who only cares about the almighty dollar and has no moral fiber or ethics whatsoever than this is your guy.

Recommended to me. Bad advice. Paid for 2 separate expungements, totalling $900. Found out after 9 months nothing has been done. No response after several calls. Need to file complaint with RI Bar Assn.

He was very good about talking on the day of the appearance, and telling you details that some lawyers gloss over. He would also call to let you know things changed (not all lawyers will) Overall I was very happy with him, although outside circumstances meant I couldn't keep him on the case. He seemed to work hard and try to be helpful. The only problem was that he was rushed and distracted, but he also is handling many clients. I would use him again.

Mr. Lutes appears knowledgable when he talks to you. However, he is distracted and hurried, doesn't pay attention, and doesn't bother with how you feel. He just takes whatever he's given and strolls off. He needs to work on these things heavily before I'd ever trust him again.

I used him once, to my detriment. Very, very slow to return calls; incredibly slow getting something scheduled in court. I waited 7 months for him to schedule a simple motion. He'll throw you under the bus in a heartbeat. Eventually, had to fire him.
