Initial consultation went great..got the 'I will fight hard for you' speach. Once I signed on, received poor communication at best, even worse legal advice, questionable charges on my account and did most of the work on my case myself (eventhough I paid thousands for her "services"). Wondered who she was representing in my case the majority of the time when I heard her legal advice. VP of Ozaukee County Bar Assoc., on board of directors fo Ozaukee County Family Services, etc...sounds warm & fuzzy, right? I think that atty Kaplan needs to decide if she wants to devote her time to her clients or these extra-cirricular activities, as it's apparent she can't give even close to 100% to each.
