Rhonda is the best child support attorney. I,ve been fighting CSSD for 13 years with no success. Rhonda came onboard and cleaned up a big mess. She won my admin appeal (OAH No. 12-0105-CSS) and an appeal to the Superior Court (3AN-11-5401 CI), thereby saving me over $74,000. The negative reviews written about Rhonda do not reflect the effective defense I recived, they sound like another attack from my x-wife. I'm sure happy Rhonda is on my side.

I am in the legal field, but not an attorney. My husband & I needed an attorney for a VERY messy & complicated child support case. I asked attorneys who I know, who should we hire, Rhonda's name was consistently at the top of everyone's list. Our case involved several tribunals in different states. The custodial parent constantly kept the "waters muddy" by calling every state & federal governmental agency & any officials she could think of on a regular basis. Thus, the resulting sheer volume of documents and exhibits of the case would have scared away any attorney not truly worth their salt. Everything Rhonda wrote for our case, the appeal brief, motion, etc., was THOROUGHLY researched & EXTREMELY well written. Rhonda is an exceptional listener, not many attorneys excel at this skill, but she does! My husband & I did not need an attorney to hold our hand. We needed one who would zealously represent us & slay our dragons. She did just that & is an A+ EXCELLENT attorney.

*For the above 5 items I rate them as EXCELLENT* I found Rhonda by calling other lawyers and asking who THEY would want to represent THEM if they were in my situation. Rhonda Butterfield's name kept coming up. Rhonda is a top notch lawyer! She ALWAYS answered my questions, got back to me right away and prepared me for all of the possible outcomes. She put the legal talk (which was scary) into words I could understand. She took the time to work with me and get the necessary information needed. When I felt like my nerves were scraped raw by the system and I couldn't take anymore, Rhonda was there to help me see it through to the end. If you are looking for a fake TV lawyer; look elsewhere. If you are looking for a REAL lawyer, one who is with you through it all, one who tells you the truth of where things stand, one who(in my book) is the creme-de-la-creme then you want Rhonda. Hands down, she's the best of the best and I'd choose her again in a heart beat!!

This lawyer has 101 reasons why she doesn't do anything in a timely manner. If you look through her cases, you'll see lots of long motions to postpone based on her other cases that are always more important. She would do better to accept a smaller case load and do it well rather than have a larger case load and ignore client needs.

She had the case for 60 days did nothing. I got a letter that she was going on vacation. When she got back I had less than a day or we would miss a court order deadline. She missed another dead line, case postponed, again she missed a deadline I fired her after over 6 months of doing nothing and billed me for 5000. She was too busy and did not care about my case.
