I was a client of the Waage Law firm from 2002-2004 and I attended one of his seminars on how to thwart the IRS and keep more money for yourself strategy sales pitches. He has a silver tongue and is well spoken and I drank the kool-aid like everyone else in the room. Not long into this business relatiionship, I received a visit from the IRS. They said my name was on the top of a list of businesses and individuals that they ordered the Waage Law Firm to provide them. After 3.5 brutal years of audit (more years to audit than my business had even been around!!) I was stuck with a huge tax liability that would ruin me for the next 20 years. All of this occurred because as a fledgling business owner, I had the misfortune of walking into one of this mans seminars and naively believing that what he was saying was true.

Here is the clearest warning I can give: if you decide to use Scott Waage for anything legal you will end up with huge bills and likely a call from the IRS requesting an audit. He has a silver tongue but the mind of a snake.

If you are his client, you maybe on IRS watchlist. F. That the Court, pursuant to I.R.C. § 7402, enter an injunction requiring Waage and
Jensen to produce to counsel for the United States a list identifying (by name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and Social Security or other tax identification number) all of the customers who, for any of the tax years 2001 to the present, have used the tax planning and/or tax preparation services of Waage, Jensen and/or their businesses as they are known under any of their names, including The Waage Law Firm, Strategic Law Group PC, Tax Advisors Group, Pensions By Design, and Robert O. Jensen an Accountancy Corporation, and to file with the Court, within 20 days of the date on which the permanent injunction is entered, a certification signed under penalty
of perjury that they have done so;

As a small business owner I needed tax and legal help beyond what my accountant and regular lawyer could provide. Scott Waage is a very good tax lawyer and provided me with great service and help for my business and family. You won't find many as good as he is. The staff was also very helpful.

The staff at Waage Law Firm is always responsive to my E-mails and calls. They are knowledgeable and always been able to answer all my questions. Hiring the Waage Law firm was the right decision for my business. I would recommend them.

Stay Away!!!! They have cost us $$$$. They overbill. We terminated our agreement, directed them to not charge our VISA and we would pay by check - proceeded to charge our VISA. We disputed the charges and they never responded back - just charged our VISA. They are horrible. We are also getting audited and they provide no support whatsover - Stay Away!

This firm charged me for work that was not requested. The IRS said that Waage didn't need to do those filings and told me not to do them any longer. Waage also charged my personal account for work not authorized. They are harassing my husband at work and me at home. I wish I knew better before I engaged them. They looked good and talked a good game. I fell for it.

I would recommend Waage law firm to all my friends and business associates. They setup my corporation and retirement plan for me and my employees. The staff was pleasant, approachable, and carefully took me through the process.

Waage Law Firm gave inaccurate advice at times and substantially over billed. We were shocked when their monthly bill came in as it was 5X the agreed amount...Stay Away!!!

This is an excellent firm with extremely capable tax lawyers who have served me well over the years. My fees have always been reasonable and one of the few law firms that has actually saved me a lot of money. Very professional and reliable. Highly recommended.
