I don't know of a greater fear than being accused of something you didn't do. Being in a foreign situation such as this there was no choice but to rely on reviews & then your gut. I cannot more highly recommend that you retain Mr. Israels if in need of criminal legal assistance or advice. I feel it is my obligation to share my experience with others who may find themselves in a similar position and help make an informed choice of counsel to retain. After being wrongfully accused of a serious offence, I read similar reviews, ultimately choosing to retain Jonathan based on others' reported experiences. This is the best decision I ever made. Jonathan was direct, knowledgeable and systematic in establishing a successful defense strategy leading to no charges laid. Trusting Jonathan's instincts and deferring to his judgment is the reason I'm able to move on with my life. Not only did Jonathan genuinely care, he provided significant services outside the scope of his retainer and refused additional compensation for such (multiple times). This is who you want in your corner when it's all on the line!

If it weren't for these reviews, I probably wouldn't have hired Mr. Israels, so it is only fair to write mine. Mr. Israels used to be a Prosecutor who crossed the floor to be a Lawyer, right? This is the first hint, he only cares about the MONEY, he is a 'very' smart man, fantastic during meetings but he also a "Car Sales Man", means once he takes your money, he won't make the time to even meet or address your concerns, let alone your case. For over a year, Mr. Israels has been busy to meet with me, says things in person he won't write on paper. . In all honesty, Mr. Israels is NOT a good value for your money.

If you don't want to go to prison, go directly to the offices of Jonathan J. Israels. I was looking at a possible 5 years in federal prison, but the team at Jonathan J. Israels Law Corp. got me a sentence of 18 months home arrest... They gave me my life back, but not only are they ninja assassins on the legal front, they're also incredibly kind and caring people. I was accused of a serious crime that traumatized me. I paid a retainer to a lawyer for a meeting that was a huge mistake. No solutions or information were offered. His next step was to wait for me to be charged and then go to court. I left scared and confused. I called JJ and he was able to meet me the same day. He met with me for 3 hours without asking for a dime and reviewed all options. He was knowledgeable, compassionate but also honest about the seriousness of this potential charge. I was so relieved that I hired him on the spot. He worked diligently so I was never charged! JJ is expensive but when having to fight for your freedom and your life it is worth it to pay for the absolute best. It was worth every penny and the best investment I have made in my life. Jonathan went above and beyond in every way. one stupid mistake was about to take my entire career away. I thought no one could accomplish the one outcome I needed. I met with 4 other lawyers before I met with Jonathan. With in 15 mins he told me what was going to happen, how he was going to do it and convinced me I wasn't dead in the water. I instantly new he was in a league of his own. On my way out of the office it felt like the whole world had lifted off my shoulders. Not only did he accomplish, what felt to me like a Miracle, he did it while completely confined to his home with two severed Achilles' tendons. Instead of taking time off to heal, like the majority of people would, he just kept on working. While I was in court listening to the DA explaining the deal to the judge, they made multiple almost comical references to me about how thorough Jonathan is. As I was walking out the judge commented on Jonathan's outstanding work ethic. He gave me a second chance.

He was an excellent attorney. At the first interview he was showing his confidence in his career of criminal defense, and guided me well enough to feel comfortable. As a first time being accused for an offence I couldn't appreciate more about his well experienced communication skill that's led me to be understood about the case and felt confidence of his dedication. During the case, because of his expensive fee, I had to choose his associate to take my case but he had left the office. But, Mr. Israels kindly took my file back with the same rate and had the file closed with wonderful result. If you are hiring him, you might feel that he is over confident or over expressive in his speech but trust me, it works. You might be afraid of giving a bad impression to the Crown because of his strong speech, but do not worry. It works for them. He gave me trust and gave me the best result. What do you want more from your attorney.

This guy is one of the worst lawyers you could hire. Not only he is unreliable he actually has a bad reputation for being a gangster lawyer. I did what most people do when caught up in a legal nightmare, I searched the Net and this guy poped up because he has spent a fortune on google adds etc. Hiring him was a big mistake, a $4000 and two nights in jail mistake. Imagin you hire a lawyer who calls himself the best out there and you have to go to jail months after charges are laid because your lawyers didn't bother showing up for a bail hearing. I'm glad that I finaly fired this greedy scumbag, hired a professional lawyer and got my case dropped. One more thing, if u hire this guy you should expect him to increase his price midstream to sell u one of his young associates, specially if he has two bookings on your court date. Long storey short if you are not a drug dealer or a gangster don't even think about coming close to someone like this guy.

My charges were serious and Jonathan was straight up about the worst case scenario which would have severely impacted my life. We were very pleased with Jonathan Israels as a criminal lawyer. The charges were extremely serious and life changing, for the worst possible outcome. Yes, he is very expensive and perhaps cocky too, but "the proof is in the pudding". We got an even better outcome than expected. He was straight forward, clear, concise and only a phone call away. I was charged with an internet sex crime so i hired Jonathan and on my first meeting with him i knew that this was the lawyer for me as he was very concerned at my state, as i was still in shock that i had been charged. He is wonderful at presenting himself and talking, he will often refer to himself as the Ferrari of lawyers. And that's how he justifies his overpriced rates. He did not deliver the results he had promised to achieve as "he knows the crown as he used to be a prosecutor". He delivered the same outcome as all other lawyers had promised to deliver yet he charged three times as much. His secretaries are some of the most unprofessional human beings I have every encountered. They are condescending and rude towards paying clients which is so bizarre. I encourage you to not be faltered by what he has to say about himself and do a little research on other lawyers around (there are many good ones) and then decide.
