I had the similiar issues like the one in the last comment. We filed chap 13 (it ended up being a bankruptcy) We were told my Thalia that it was ok to pay my now ex-husbands parents back and it turned out that it was not true. We ended up having the pay the trustee back because it was conflict of interest with other creditors or something like that. It was always my word against thiers. In the end I ended up just dealing with John Turco and he really ticked me off because my ex-husband ended up getting information from him about me, even after I was told that my stuff would be confidential. I also wish that this company would have just gave us more info for the chap 13 vs Chap 7. It turns out most people end up going to a chap 7. With info I would have known now I would have originally just went that way. I talked to the front desk at one time and she hung up on me, complained to Turco about me hanging up on her. Wasn't the case at all. I just hate dealing with them am glad it's done.

Whenever you call the office and ask to speak to your attorney, the paralegal that answers the phone will tell you that the attorney is busy. The attorneys are apparently always busy - you will never get them on the phone. Further, the paralegals tell you different things.. "Yes, your income tax is all yours" and then "The court might take some of your income tax". Bankruptcy is not a good thing to begin with, but my experiences with the Turco law office have made it worse.
