I have given Chris Ragano the rating noted because he uses good judgment in dispensing legal advice; he is most effective in the courtroom and does not exaggerate his legal ability. His advice is sound and practical and explains why he gives specific advice for a specific problem. He gives his clients confidence that their problem can be resolved in a reasonable manner. His client is important to him and he goes out of his way to be available to his client at all times. He has given me advice on matters that needed a specific answer and I was very pleased with his advice.

No communication at all, and was pushing for litigation from the start. He didn't even want to mediate, saying there was no way my ex would agree to anything. Asked for 10k to start litigation after burning through the first 5k pushing papers and excessively billing on tasks. The clincher was when he berated me over the phone when I called to let his office know I would be 10 minutes late for an appointment. Instead of dumping my $ into another 10k retainer, I spent 1.5k to hire another attorney to represent me at mediation, and ended up with everything I wanted in my settlement. If you want to keep your money, children and sanity, find yourself another attorney.

I hired this flat fee lawyer to handle my divorce. The paralegal that works in his office is unprofessional, unfriendly, and unexperienced. The courts notify the lawyers, to notify their clients when to show up for mediation, I almost missed the first one because that paralegal forgot to tell me about it. The only reason I made it there was because my ex-wife informed me of the court date. How sad is that? When her lawyer started to go after my retirement and pay this crazy amount for alimony, he didn't fight for me, not even try to negotiate any. He told me to take the deal, because he's seen worst. Good thing I didn't listen to him. I fired him and hired a new attorney and got to keep my retirement. I've since sent a mass email to all my military service members , telling them not to hire this attorney as he has numerous advertisements right out side the base. He also has an illegal link to the base's website on his website to make it look like he is affiliated with the base.

There are NO WORDS for the gratitude that I have for Chris and his paralegal, Jeri. They are God sent. I don't know what all these people are talking about by rating him poorly. He walked in our final hearing, shut the opposing party down to TEARS! We walked out with every single last thing we asked for. EVERY THING! He knows his stuff. He's sharp and hard nosed. I would hire him over and over again. Worth every dime we spent. These bad ratings must be from people who had no case to begin with. Chris is incredible. He will NOT disappoint. He will continue to work on our case and monitor that our new parenting plan is followed. If there are any contempt issues....he has already stated he will be ready to take it in front of the judge again for jail time. He knows his stuff. If you like in your face attorney's that fight for father's rights....he is the attorney for YOU! You are the BEST CHRIS!

I honestly don't know where to begin, Lack of respect for client, when I had an issue it was brushed over, many conferences were to discuss what the options were but no action was taken, I did all the research and provided all documents to prove my case, I convinced opposing party to send child support voluntarily, I meet with opposing party to finalize parenting plan, what did my attorney do? I am still asking myself that question at the moment. Then 5 mins before we went in to sign final paperwork was when he discussed all the details I was literally bombarded by 2 attorneys to sign and still unsure and confused but thinking my attorney had my best interest I signed. The final numbers for arrearages are 100% wrong and I spent every dollar I had on this case and now have to find an attorney to do pro bono work for me to undue this mess. I am very unsatisfied and disappointed with regards to how my case was handled, and would never recommend Mr.Ragano.

I don't even know where to start. If your case is even remotely important to you, find a different attorney. Chris Ragano didn't do a thing. He billed me for some things twice. And he didn't even do them once. But told me he did. And billed me for it. I then had to pay another attorney to clean up his mess.

To Date Chris and Staff have been on top of my case. I was reluctant at first however his background on Fl Law and Fathers Rights has shown thru! He has returned all my calls on weekends and weeknights and while busy with other cases has found time to keep me in the loop on my case. To date I have been very satisfied and comfortable with all aspects of his office. As time progresses and our case gets more involved I will update the score.

Dragged on and on,over billing and billing for services nerver renderded. Received mail intended for other clients and billed for it. He is completely disorganized and can't keep employees. I could never recommend the man for anything. Much better and more fair attorney's out there do you research! Thousands of dollars spent for nothing, nothing left to split in the end.

I was very dissatisfied with Mr. Ragano's work ethic and professionalism. I found him to be disorganized, self-centered and apathetic towards my needs as his client. I was in a pinch to retain someone quickly. I wish I had time to retain someone more qualified and caring.

Granted, my case had been going for some time by the time he came into the firm and received my case; however, ALL he could tell me was EVERYTHING that had been done wrong - not much to resolve the issues. After years of fighting, my case finally came to it's rightful conclusion when my ex-husband died...not from any legal action on my behalf. Ragano subsequently left this firm and went to another. This was in 2005.
