When I initially hired Mr. Fredrickson he appeared knowledgeable. After paying him a $3000 "non-refundable" retainer he stopped communicating with me. He would not answer phone calls, e-mails or certified letters. Save your money and do NOT hire this man. I've taken my case to small claims court and also intend on filing a complaint with the Texas State Bar pending the outcome of my case. Buyer beware!

Paid $3000 retainer. He attended 30 minute mediation and never heard from him again or got temp orders written up as he was supposed to. After approx. 1 year of trying to get him to respond I finally had to get another lawyer. This guy is a common thief that I plan to sue in small claims court.

I have been sitting on my case for 4 months and nothing is resolved or began, I wish I saw this earlier and I would have never hired him. No call backs, not informed, i had to call him to tell him about a court case and yet he is an attorney, Straight disgrace!

Same experience as everyone else. He took $10,000.00 as retainer, went to ONE mediation, and now I can't contact him at all. My son has reported abuse from his father, and I NEED to go back to court. contacting the BAR asap.

All I can say is ditto to the two previous complaints. The guy was quick to take thousands of dollars and charge hundreds for a 5 minute phone call in the first month. Since then I cannot get them to return a call or even ANSWER when I call. They have 4 or 5 offices and NOONE answers at any of the numbers. The calls go to an answering machine. I have emailed them MANY times and I NEVER get an answer. I went to one office and the building office said they left with no forwarding information. Looks like they skipped town or something.

I'm in the middle of my nightmare now. They were GREAT about calling me back for my initial consulation and first meeting, but now I can't get then to call me back AT ALL! It's been SEVERAL months for simple child support and he is dragging his feet. I have no idea where in the process he is so I can't even hire another attorney. To add insult to injury, a few months into the process I get a call from one of his attorneys asking me all the same stuff I gave them at the first meeting! I've tried emailing a few times a week, calling, leaving messages and I only get the run around if I'm lucky enough to talk to anyone. If it doesn't get better soon, I'm considering a formal complaint with the BAR. The initial contract promised they would keep their client "reasonably informed", there is nothing reasonable with this lack of communication whatsoever.

First off,first day of court he was one hour late, from then on the nightmare began, don't expect any return calls from him. he has used all of my retainer fee and wants much more before he can move forward, all he has done for me is a temporary order from court. So in the mean time I am left with nothing and my soon to be Ex and his lawyer is waiting to go to mediation for the settlement, here my lawyer will not call me back. I could go on and on
