We've hired her in January, she was prompt to get the $150 for consulting and $3000 to start the case. 8 months later she hasn't responded to our numerous phone calls/emails and no update on the case or where the $3000 is being spend. Will notify the board if she doesn't respond within a few days. My brother will get released in less than a month and yet she is being a very irresponsible and unethical lawyer. Would not recommend.

I've hired her based on her online ratings (I wish I had found this website then, 3/8/08 review is pretty much what happened to me). After a 1st meeting & payment, she stopped answering my emails/calls. I've gathered 100s of pages of info & made them file ready. She made me wait 3 months before telling me what else I needed. She left town several times, even on an 2+ weeks Europe vacation (no heads up). I'd get an automated email reply to contact her assistant in case of emergency (whom never picked up the phone).
She'd fail to explain requirements/explained them wrong/last minute, which wasted a lot of my time and over-stressed me. She wouldn't answer simple email questions, but she'd post several times a day on her personal facebook, and give public conferences and interviews. Once her assistant offered me a call appointment in 10 days. It was a month before my visa expiration date.
I've started my paperwork early (1 year) but she left my visa expire. I finally hired another lawyer

Helen, is the kind of lawyer you want & need in your corner. She fought along & hard for me and my case. I was wrongfully fired after blowing the whiles on my company for illegal chemicals use in a public place. She faught for me & for the visitors who visit this attraction on a daily bases. Helen is a very well trained & likes to study the details. So, that she is prepared well for the court date. She was always prompt to reply to emails or phone calls. She kept me informed on all conversation she may have had with the opposing side. I would highly recommend Helen & her firm to any one who wants a "kick ass lawyer & team" on your side. They do get the job done & protect you at the same time. I do recommend Helen and will use her & her team again if i ever need a great lawyer.
If your looking for a Great Lawyer? Stop looking and get Helen on your side.

Helen Parsonage responded to an immediate need I had for consultation, advice and action in an employement matter. She met with me quickly and was well prepared to deal with my issue. Helen thoroughly analyzed my situation and gave me advice that yielded the outcome that I was hoping for. She is an excellent, responsive and sensitive attorney and counselor. I would use her again and recommend her to others.

Mrs.Parsonage was and is one of the most considerate, honest, hardworking and tenacious attorneys I know. She handled my case and always kept me up to date on all correspondence with opposing counsel. I recommend her to anyone who wants their case handled by someone who carrys theirself professionally and looks out for her clients best interest. Her knowledge, communication, work quality and values are what you want in an attorney.

When I was facing unjust criminal charges, Ms. Parsonage handled the matter quickly and efficiently. The charges were dismissed and she expunged them from my record at no additional charge. Thanks to her, my criminal record is still clear. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a caring and knowledgeable attorney.

Helen Parsonage is a very skillful, friendly, flexible and, most importantly, an honest attorney. I and my partner applied to Elliot Pishko Morgan, and Helen helped us to file our affirmative asylum application. She was so honest and understanding, that she literally took our case on pro bono basis. Our case has been approved recently. I can not find words to express how grateful we both are for her professional approach to our case. In other words, Helen helped us to save our lives, and be no longer a victim of a persecution by the Government.Helen will always be on our thoughts. She is awesome; She is great!

Helen Parsonage abandoned my case. Her firm accepted the case. She was assigned the case. There were long periods (3 months) in which she failed to reply to a single email/phone call. We later learned that in that same period she corresponded with opposing counsel and hadn't debriefed us. Despite the fact she would have been armed with evidence of billing fraud and licensure misrepresentation on the part of the Greensboro-based health & hospital system that wrongfully terminated me for internally whistleblowing, she allowed herself to be bullied and bluffed by opposing counsel that threatened her with employees willing to testify that they did not like me or could not work with me. Since these are the same people who misrepresent themselves as having licenses they do not actually possess, I don't understand why she would sweat a character debate. At least have the decency to inform me you dropped the case. I learned this fact by letter 7 months later and well after opposing counsel.
