I’m in a heated custody battle I felt as though this man was working for my wife she has A restraining order against me in mass DC F ordered no contact with the mother for the children and and this man told me I should call my ex on my daughters birthday. I asked him multiple times to communicate with an agency and he never followed through . I felt he was very lackadaisical on following up with any motions . And I still have not received any child support or my belongings and it’s been about five months I do not recommend this man to anybody I do not even think he should be allowed to practice law

Bob Mitson is a great attorney. I have had numerous cases against him as opposing counsel. The prior negative review is not warranted. He is aggressive,careful, knowledgeable and persistent. He really cares about his clients and fights for them.

I am surprised to see the negative reviews as they absolutely DO NOT reflect Attorney Mitson. My case was referred to Attorney Mitson by a highly reputable and well known mediator, due to the complexity of the case. Mr. Mitson had the extensive knowledge, patience, and foresight to handle my case. He had excellent professional contacts and it was obvious that he was well respected within the RI legal community. I am also surprised to see the negative reviews regarding the legal fees. I did my homework and Mr. Mitson legal service fees are the same as lawyers with similar years of experience. If you do not believe me, call reputable lawyers and check for yourself. As far as the billing is concerned, each dollar was accounted for. Attorney Mitson has high moral and ethical standards. Do not expect him to do anything unethical. But if you are right, and deserve something, he will put in his heart and soul to fight for you. I challenge you to meet with him and then decide for yourself.

I found Attorney Mitson to be extremely detail oriented and knowledgeable in the handling of my divorce case. The most impressive part was how he handled my deposition with a cunning lawyer. I would highly recommend Attorney Mitson to anyone who is looking for an honest, hard working lawyer who will guide you to the best outcome, and is not in this profession trying to make money off his clients. His staff is also extremely polite and helpful. They always managed to get me in touch with Attorney Mitson whenever there was an urgent matter, whether it was via a phone call or email. Knowing I was in good hands, brought me a lot of comfort through that difficult time. I would highly recommend Attorney Mitson.

I am so upset I didn't think to read reviews before using Mitson. I CANNOT believe he is allowed to practice law. It felt like I was arguing with a 6 year old child. He 1000% didn't care about me or my case. Mr Mitson himself obviously planted those reviews that say he did a good job. He was scared, timid, whiney, cranky, lackadaisical, and the worst part was he felt like my enemy. Ask yourself, are these the qualities you want your lawyer to have? Also, it seemed like I knew more about the law than he did.

I used Mr. Mitson in a property claim dispute found him to be quick, responsive, and a great communicator. As on e review put it he's a straight shooter and you're not going to get any bs information out of him. I was very satisfied with the work Mr. Mitson did for me and my family and I highly recommend him.

I should have read the reviews before I hired him although I didn't know there were any. All he does is take your money and never does anything for you, HIS client. I swear he works against you with the other lawyer or problem your having.People should know about rating this guy as he is a DISGRACE to other lawyers that work hard for their clients.It has been 3 years now and I am still waiting for a call back on my case.When you call him he is very rude and says he's busy!!and never has an answer for you.But he's available with his hand out to take your money.DON'T USE HIM, you can lose on your own and save yourself some money

hired him back in 99 to handle my workman's comp claim. he gave his word that he wouldn't ask for any money up front and that i could pay him my settlement. after 2 weeks he never even filed any paperwork on my claim and had the audacity to tell me that i was going to have to pay him $300.00 before he could do anything with my case after i had told him that i was broke. i fired him and hired a prov. lawyer who got me way more than i was expecting. a couple of years later he walked into a sub shop where my son was working soliciting the people waiting to order food trying to sell his services and handing out his cards. sound like a competent lawyer to you? stay away from mitson!

THE worst lawyer I have ever met. He is truly only in it for the money. Made our matters worse having him as a lawyer. I wish I had read these reviews before I hired this clown. If your looking for a lawyer run from this guy. He takes forever to get back to you, he is rude, and does not communicate well with his clients. He was an expensive mistake.

Professional and dedicated guy. He won't compromise his beliefs to do something against the law. I have to respect that. The other people on here must be bitter clients. (look at all those spelling mistakes) If you are looking for a lawyer who is professional and a straight shooter. Mr. Mitson is your man.

wish i checked out lawyers first,to start he's rude,and selfcentered,he'll tell you what you want to here in his office and changes everything in court to me he is after the money he can get out of you.got charged alot of money for one day and never made it into court,was told that i had to pay for his time if your lokking for a good lawyer....keep looking

I am still working with this clown. At first seemed very impressive with his professionalism. I have found him to be extremely rude, condescending, and he never gets back on issues that are important. His Assistant who answers the phone also has quite of an attitude. Wish I looked further for another attorney before going to this guy.

One of the slowest lawyers I have ever used. Very rarely if ever returns your calls. I have waited for over 5 years to get a lawsuit to court and so far I have not seen the inside of a court room. Would only recommend him to the person I was suing.

Attorney doesn't listen or give time for anyone to talk. Angry too quickly, and rude. Wouldn't advise using him if you cannot communicate with him without him becoming sarcastic and angry if you try to get a word inbetween his babble.

If you are looking for an honest guy to help settle an issue or get an honest opinion Mr. Mitson is your guy. He was very helpful in my cases while keeping a high level of professionalism and friendlyness. It is understandable why the other comment was what it was. If you are looking to make someone else's life miserable out of spite he is not your guy. Mr. Mitson is a rare find in the legal profession.
