Hired in 6/07, took retainer (7/07), stated he would look into "how to do" what my case needed-Never did any of it. Stated he would call, never heard back unless I complained. "I'll call you tomorrow" . . . never did. When he did call it was after 10PM, last call was before Midnight. Complaints from others about calling late. I found I could close on some property from the opposition in 2/08 (Others could not reach him-they called me), Mr. Keane witheld info from me for months. "These things take time" He stated in 12/07-If you keep info secret from your client. . . yes! Just when "I" set the closing date, he went on "Vacation" and delayed the return for weeks. " Even his office was confused. "Well, go get another lawyer!" He (and his brother) threatened. (I say I want my retainer back first.) Or, "My brother is an alchoholic and I need to take care of him this week" Martin stated. There is more, but: Never go near Martin Keane & associates 63-48 Alderton st, Rego Park. You are warned
