He did not interview or call witnesses at trial for the defense. There were witnesses.He did not consult or communicate with client or follow his suggestions. He made up his own theory of what happened and did not ask client what happened. He did not object when prosecution was interviewing the prosecutions witnesses. The judge had to do it for him. He did not go see pictures and evidence that the prosecutor was going to introduce in court. He did not submit motions and/or submit them in a timely manner. He did not insist on DNA testing. He did not insist that medical records be introduced that would have helped his client. He did not insist that a medical examination be performed. His client was not taken to the doctor until after the trial was over. He allowed his client to be railroaded through the system. It is difficult to prove ineffective assistance of counsel. I cannot begin to tell you how bad his defense was in this case.
