I wish I had seen these reviews sight before I hired Keenan. Upon looking at the contract I wish I had read it more carefully. It pretty much prepares you for low expectations, and to burn money. The personable demeanor is a cloak for an incompetent, slacking, charlatan that did little yet rewarded his efforts handsomely. By the time I had accepted the fact I was being taken for a ride my retainer was gone with nearly no progress in my case to show for it. Within 2 weeks of firing this clown and hiring new counsel, I have gotten further than I did in 7 months with his sloth's pace. He is a joke, but your lost time and money won't be. You have been warned.

Mr. Keenan is a wonderful attorney. He was so professional and compassionate in getting my son back for me. This was a very stressful time in my life and James Keenan was always there to answer my many questions. He is a good listener and very effective lawyer. I highly recommend him to anyone with a family law issue.

Mr. Keenan has been such a help to me over the last year. He has taken my former husband to court numerous times and gotten my child support every time. I would not have made it without him. He is very professional and an accomplished lawyer.

A word to the wise, look for another lawyer. His goal is to keep the meter running and not the resolution of your case. Look for an honest lawyer.

BE VERY CAREFUL. He will drag your case out and over bill you as long as possible. He will have you selling your mother's china, emptying your accounts, borrowing from friends, banks, co-workers until you have nothing left, then say he can't go on unless you come up with more. He tends to lose documents and claims he mailed ones you never see. The Judge never sees half the problems and he has little trial experience. HE IS OUT FOR THE MONEY. He does not CARE FOR YOU. HE WANTS TO LINE HIS POCKETS. Look it up and talk to the others he is representing. You will hear almost word for word the process of how they paid him and what they have left and hwo there case isn't even close to finished.

I would be careful- he is a slacker and does not return calls. Plus he overcharges you for work and is not honest to his clients.
