Well during the consultation he told me I couldn't claim my children because of the new Trump tax plan. I contacted several accountants and found out that I could claim my children. By the time I found this out it was to late the case was filed in Virginia court. I told him and he said you can't claim earned income which proves he knows nothing. I had to file the case at the clerk's office he couldn't even do that. I had to write up my own parenting plan also he was incapable of that also. He allowed my x wife and her attorney to make me look like a bad father and didn't object to anything. He allowed them to say I only got my children for four weeks in the summer which I have always gotten then for five. I have been I law enforcement for 22 years and I know what he did. He made a deal with her attorney and the GAL outside the court room. I have seen public defenders do a much better job. He should be disbarred. He would retire before he ruins someone else's life. Which he is retiring.

This attorney was appointed as a GAL for a custody case involving 2 small children. The mother involved couldn't pass a drug test, refused to do as the courts ordered and refused to take any initive to change the circumstances but all that Mr.Gilley was worried about was the mother's rights and he kept saying that the mother just needed some guidance....all though she has 3 children and is 26 years old. Well "MR.GILLEY WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN, THEIR RIGHTS, THEIR SAFETY and THEIR FUTURE?"
