Poor communications, constant follow up, extremely difficult to get a hold off, her staff being rude. We had to write many of the motions or correspondences ourselves. She was more focused on obtaining retainers from us than finding an end to the stressful situation we were going through. She would file motion after motion but never pressed to get in front of the courts to resolve. She would tell us that she couldn't control how the courts set dates. This may be true, but you got to request the dates to find out. We learned this after hiring a new attorney. We followed her instructions with blind faith. Do not do the same. She cancelled or rescheduled hearings or mediations dates without our knowledge or agreements. Look at all the reviews. There are many who have felt the same as we have. I just wished we read them first. We would not have hired her.

Does not return calls. Has no idea about your case. Be prepared to have the receptionist give you all your legal advice because you will never get her on the phone. Only nasty emails you will receive when you get fed up with her blatant misconduct and an unprofessionalism!!

11/17/12 Rated her bad because she took $3000 child support reduction and then requested $1500 more the day before the court date and fired me. This lady is obviously money hungry, and it would take her two weeks to respond to messages and that she would respond to erroneously. On top of this, she would confuse my case with others. Would NEVER recommend her to ANYONE one. She should be disbarred.

Awful, she is just after the money, and she has more cases than she could handle. Can't get ahold of her, she only replies to email on Wednesdays and that's only if its an emergency. She assured me that she filed a motion, and I later found out from my new attorney that she never filed it. She is never prepared and she has a weak personality, my ex's lawyer stared her down on every occassion.

I could never get a hold of her when important matter arose. It took about two weeks for her to respond to e-mails. Spent over 4,000 dollars for nothing. Very poor customer service and she constantly demanded more money. She could not even make copies for herself. I had to provide her with multiple copies of everything.

I had to say that I had a positive experience with Attorney Tamara Holden. I hired her to get me custody of my son and to reduce child support because I was laid off from my job in 2010. She was passionate in Court whcih made the difference. I got what she said I would get. My child support is now lower according to my current job and my visitation is finally occuring thanks to Mrs. Holden! I would absolutely recommend her services, they were well worth it.

Ms. Holden is not trustworthy she ran up a bill on me for $ 7500.00 for 8 months and during that time she never went to court to settle, or calm the child custody arrears that I had pending, when she used up the first $ 4000.00 of my money she sent me a bill for an additional $ 3500.00, I asked her what did you do for me in the 6 months for the money I already paid, she explained if I did not pay the additional $ 3500.00 she will be withdrawing from my case, I refused to pay her more money since she did nothing for me to make me feel that she was working for me. Ms. Holden never filed a document to the court on my behalf to this date, OH and good luck trying to get her on the phone. Ms.Holden withdrew on the day of a scheduled court date that I had scheduled.I cannot get my money back, she refused and I do not know where to turn for help!

My divorce has been extended over 2 years and I have always been able to contact the office or Ms Holden when needed. Her experience and knowledge show through in every meeting and discussion with her.I have and will continue to recomend her to anyone who may need her services. Thank you Tamera.

Ms. Holden's consultation was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and competent. Prepared and accommodated my requests to meet and my schedule. She offered multiple options for my child support situation. I consider her fair, trustworthy, able, and potentially very productive. We discussed her fees (reasonable) versus outcomes. She offered options that I must weigh on a personal basis. It was a pleasure to meet with her and whether or not I contract with her, to me, she's very professional. (She didn't even charge me correctly for our consultation, but don't tell her.) Steve J S

Could not get a call back from her the entire case. I would have changed lawyers if she didnt have all of my money. I would never use her again. Terrible person to deal with!!!!

I loved this firm. My divorce was so difficult to handle but they made sure they explained everything to me. i had a 20 year marriage w/ 3 kids a house 4 cars and a trust inheritance. i got primary visitation of my kids, 2 cars, the house and child support and alimony. it cost a bit but hey it was worth it. dont think of the price tag, it pays for itself. and she actually cared! she knew who i was an every detail of all my issues. :D

DO NOT BELIEVE ANY CLAIMS THEY MAKE ON THEIR WEBSITE!! They claim exceptional communication - phone calls were returned days later and staff never had our file in front of them when returning calls and did not know what was going on - got calls saying they never received info despite confirming receipt after sending it. She claims "Upfront discussion of fees" however we were told our retainer of $5,000 was being charged because she thought our case would go to trial and any unused funds would be refunded however that was not the case. We received a bogus bill (after requesting one for two months) saying we had used all but $480 for a one hour phone meeting with her directly and a two hour mediation session. Phone calls are not returned and despite several attempts to speak directly to the attorney we only receive messages from her RUDE office mgr. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!!! DO NOT USE HER!!!

After the Attorney ran up my bill, she informed 3 days before a hearing set a month and half before that she need more money or she would not attend the hearing. There was still money remaining in the Trust. They cancelled the hearing because I could not come up with the funds in such short notice.
The end results are that I have spent $6,000 with this attorney to attend a 15 minute hearing which she cancelled when she could not extort more money from me.
