Julie Barnes is a highly respected, young, divorce attorney. However, watch out for her billing practices! She and her associates will bill you for everything from leaving a voicemail on your phone asking you to call them back, to writing you a one sentence response to your emails. Maybe this is a common practice among attorneys but I can not get over the fact that I was charged $15 and $30 for her junior associate to leave me a message asking me to call him back. When I voice my concerns to her I was told that I should consider myself lucky that I wasn't billed more and that I was free to find another attorney. This being said, I was satisfied with the outcome of my case (although it was extremely simple).
