Words can not describe Pat and his amazing staff! They first saw me at the lowest point in my life, and I was truly filled with hopelessness and despair. I have known Patrick Toscano personally and professionally for over 15 years. As a former delegate for a Local PBA I've seen Pat handle numerous cases for officers. He excels in all areas -critical incidents, disciplinary, criminal and administrative matters. His counsel is widely sought after and always my first call when a fellow officer is in trouble. One Hands Wash Another
I was recommended to Toscano by Kirnan, another attorney. Kirnan was a former mayor and attorney who was disbarred and found guilty of stealing clients funds. Kirnan was represented by Toscano in his legal defense. My experience with Toscano was terrible. I would describe him as a slick lawyer who ripped me off and did not deliver what he promised. I definitely would not recommend him to anybody. Don't waste your money, time, and nerves. He is dishonest and unethical. He will take financial advantage of you without delivering results.

Mr. Toscano and his team are professional in every sense of the word. I was placed in a situation within my law enforcement agency that was terrible. I was guided by Rick and Bill as how to best handle the situation. I am still a police officer thanks to their efforts. The office staff kept me apprised on all information that was gathered. I have never really felt comfortable in a courtroom until I was with Pat. I just watched Mr. Toscano put on a display like no other. I do not care what movie, TV show, or lawyer you may have seen or heard, nothing compares to what I watched over the last week. Mr. Toscano proved over and over again how people lie even under oath. From his opening statement to his closing argument, he said he was going to show people the truth behind the lies, and he sure did. I can not express how happy I am that my family used this man to represent them. He was a professional all the way through and I can not say he is just a lawyer. Forget Michaelangelo's work of the Sistine Chapel, Mr.Toscano in a court room is a true work of art. And he does it all with his words. Thank you again and it was a true honor to meet you. Pat is a very knowledgeable attorney, however, his communication skills leave something to be desired. Don't expect to reach him via phone, it's next to impossible. The best way to reach him is by e-mail but don't expect his response to be more than a couple of brief phrases. All in all, Pat knows the law, but does next to nothing to make you feel like you are any more than another case to him. During a difficult time, in which you need someone to be there for you and on your side, he is nowhere to be found. Like most attorneys, back room deals are made to settle the case after each side has made enough money. Do yourself a favor and find a compassionate attorney that knows the law, but at the same time keeps you abreast of the situation. If you retain Pat, you will lose your sanity trying to guess what's going on with your case. Sometimes thats just as important as the outcome itself.

Pat and his office have been amazing. Right from the begining they made you feel at home. I'm a Hackensack Police officer who with other members of my department have been suspended on Administrative charges. During the first 2 parts of my open public hearing Pat destroyed 2 IA Captains on the stand,and found they violated at least 10 to 12 AG Guidelines. Anyone wishing to see Mr. Toscano in action your invited to open public hearing on Oct 13, and Oct 20, 2009 at Hackensack City Hall 10 am. You wont believe what you see and hear!! By far the best lawyer I've seen yet.

I am a police officer in Mountainside, NJ (union county) and was represented by Patrick Toscano. After a two day bench trial I was acquitted on a fourth degree aggravated assault charge. The best line at the trial came out of the prosecuting attorney's mouth. "I guess I'm getting my butt kicked". That sums up best how it went. Thanks again Mr. Toscano and keep fighting the good fight for all those who are victims of politics and jealousy from within their own. She then had to admit to her lies and a sham investigation by Internal Affairs collapsed like a house of cards. From my experiences with him, I would have to say that he's smart, tactful, strategic, calculating and resourceful. Aside from his professional prowess, he genuinely cares about his clients, and his clients dilemmas... He's the kind of guy who makes me feel as though if I have a problem... Then HE has a problem. When he says "Don't worry", it's from a savvy estimation of what he knows he can do to alleviate a "situation"... It's not just some empty, positive reenforcement. Absolutely one of the top that I know of. His speciality in public safety officer defense is second to none. And he is equally as effective in all other matters. He is articulate, punctual, highly professional and patient. For general legal matters or if you have a specific issue you need resolved I would strongly recommend you reach out to him. He is in a class by himself simply because not many can handle matters the way he does.
