Sender Herschorn was the worst lawyer I ever hired. He was incompetent, condescending (I’m female), did not listen, was not prepared, totally mismanaged my divorce proceedings. His record keeping, billing and trust accounting left much to be desired Do yourself a favour and run far as you can from this ignorant, self absorbed, arrogant clown. He should not be licensed to practice law.

Sender Hershorn is anti black, anti indigenous and has issues with strong women. If you are any of the above run as far away from him as possible. And I encourage all of you who have had unfortunate run ins with him, report him to the Law Society! You won’t be the first to do so.

Mr Herschorn represented my ex..his demeanor was that of a child...I had no lawyer, didn't need one..from the beginning all his documents were a mess and or missing..very incompetent and unprepared in court, stumbled over his own words and had unsatisfactory responses for the judge..I feel a bit bad my ex has a large Bay Street Lawyer bill for a 2-bit lawyer..I wouldn't let him represent me for free..ooo yes the good news he lost! ??

OK, this horrible excuse of a lawyer cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars. He is an ass. He agreed to a horrible settlement that did not have a closing date for spousal support - which I asked him to do. This forced me to extend the legal action costing hundreds of thousands more. Talked me out of keeping my kids after the police had brought them to me. Suggested I submit documents from Children's Services that would not work in my favor. Pushed me into a settlement that almost made me bankrupt. He is not a strategic thinker. He is really not very smart - although he thinks he is a genius. He has not made a single impression on the legal profession in Toronto. Hired another lawyer and it was like night and day. She quickly got my spousal support quashed and the whole matter FINALLY closed. Sender Herschorn is a terrible lawyer. He will hurt your case and hurt your pocket book. Run away - absolutely do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT hire this guy. You will regret it like I did.

I think the law society should seriously look into this so called lawyer. He is very ignorant and condescending towards his female peers. I suggest if you are black DO NOT have anything to do with this guy. He may think that all these comments make him bigger but it should be a warning for people to stay away from this unprofessional and disrespectful excuse for a man. He should be brought up to the law society again !!!

I strongly urge those who wish to hire Mr Herschorn to think again. He is condescending, egotistical and unprofessional. Since day one he was always unorganized and asked me to remind him what we needed to talk about. His work (when he did it) was mediocre at best. His lack of attention to detail, organizational skills and bad humor is what gives the whole matrimonial process a bad name. Nobody wants to go through this but Mr Herschorn made the situation more painful than it had to be. Needless to say his incompetence and arrogance led me to fire him half way through my separation and it was the best thing I ever did!

Charged for 3 visits he initiated and he had not read the file and was not prepared. He kept tying to push settlement and he did not seem to be listening to me nor representing my interests.

I have retained Mr. Herschorn and he has yet to lose. The opposing lawyers most likely will regret the battle once they find out who they are up against. 5-stars.

Mr. Herschorn handled a family trust matter for us in a timely, courteous manner in dealing with us. He was firm and competent in dealing with the lawyer for the other family member and has resolved a very awkward situation to our complete satisfaction.

Matrimonial matter, I'm male, was recommended by female friend: He did not argue other side's outrageous costs. He did not arrange access. He said nothing in court. He did not demonstrate any "strategic" thinking (e.g. say abc in your affidavit to help your case, or do xyz now so it will reflect better on you later). Did not do paperwork for court-ordered child support to begin, giving court negative view of me. He complained about the client's attitude (me) and the other side's lawyer's intelligence. He did not achieve anything whatsoever. He is fairly vain and condescending (occupational hazard). Very difficult to have a meeting with, as he bounces between subjects confusingly. Unsympathetic to the client's stresses of the divorce. Not just a waste of time and money, but actually hurt my case. Wish I'd never met him.

Sender Herschorn handled my separation from my now ex-husband. He was understanding, helpful, reasonable and very funny. The last atribute was most welcome as anyone will tell you, a little humour can make an otherwise unsettling experience less so.
