Unfortunately many of these reviews were written after I retained him, or I would have gone elsewhere. As his reputation gets worse, and it gets harder to find new clients, he has resorted to scamming his existing clients. The only thing he did for me, was file my bancruptcy in a timely manner, and that was because he wanted to get paid. It went downhill from there. He didn't show up for the first meeting. He was supposedly stuck in Buffalo. He didn't even bother to let anyone know. I ended up representing myself. He has no respect for anyone, not his clients, not the trustee. This summer he said he wanted to try to convert my Chapter 13 to a Chapter 7. It was a longshot, but I figured I'd try, but he didn't try. He took the money and ran, and went on vacation. It's been 3 months and he wont respond. I am now at risk of a dismissal, because he told me not to make my payments. Chances are, it will work out, but no thanks to him. I asked for my money back. I doubt I will see it again.

he took $2000.00 from us for a mortgage modification which we found out is illegal to get money up front for in NYS. He never did anything for us, nothing and then told us we didn't make enough money to get one, but we could file bankruptcy if we paid him more money. Imagine that. This morning I received a email supposedly from him saying he is in Greece and has lost his luggage and all his money and wants us to help by sending money, too funny. I also turned him in to the professional standards committee.

This is absolutely the worst lawyer on the earth. He NEVER returns calls. Gives false information. He takes the money and never shows up to court. You can never contact him. If you hire him, you will lose your time, money and your home. Stay away at all costs!

This attorney office NEVER returns phone calls or has a live person answer the phone. Didnt file paperwork timely, did not follow through with court documents or deadlines, the staff encouraged me to deliberately misrepresent my circumstances to my Trustee. It might have cost me an additional $29,000 if not for an inept mistake that worked in my favor but it took paying another lawyer to fix the problem. No matter how desperate you are for help DO NOT have this attorney represent you.

They will never call you back. Gave me false information, which I lost over $11,000 dollars because he did know the new changes in the law over a vehicle accident.

I looked for reviews on this guy before I went to him and couldn't find any. I wish I had I am out $6,000 in lawyer fees and am no better off than I was a 1 1/2 ago, he lies. No one at the office knows what they are doing or if they do they don't bother to call you back. When they filled out my documents there were so many mistakes. They say be careful of mortgage scams. This guy is the scam you NEED to aviod!

Terrible experience. I am in danger of losing my home because of him and his team. I am filing a grievance with the NYS Committee on Professional Standards and Lawyers fund For Client Protection. I suggest you do the same.

My experience started roughly 2yrs ago...STILL WAITING FOR A COURT DATE. Still havent heard back from lawyer! paid out over 1000 dollars. and did not explain the costs of everything. have tried hundreds of time to contact him. no repsonse. NOW i am dealing with garnishment of over 8000 dollars! what do i do next?!?!?! BBB?? Do NOT go to this Guy! and if you find him or contact him, Tell him IM looking for him and my MONEY!

I have had a similar experience as the two previous posts. I was very unsatisfied with how my whole case was handled. Things weren't disclosed to us and the whole process was very unorganized and chaotic. My word-of-mouth was not pleasant.

the worst "lawyer experience" i have ever had, i am doing this sp no one else lives through this.. never (including staff) returned calls, did not file paperwork in a timely fashion so that my wages were garnished. NEVER available. if i had any money at all i would have retained another lawyer. I do not believe in idle gossip or slander. this is an honest statement so other people don't get stuck.

He gave us advice that was questionable; When we tried to reach him to clarify, he would not take our calls, promising to call back, but not calling back. He misled us about monthly expenses and did not inform us of the true costs until we were standing in a hallway at a bankruptcy hearing and then said it was because "You first contacted me many months ago, so the cost went up." Truth is, his calculations were not done until we had retained him--during the requisite time before the hearing. We contacted him months before we had retained him. We have been left hanging and in a very, very bad position.
