Mr. Gianino prepared trust documents and estate planning for my mother. He did a TERRIBLE JOB protecting her assets! upon her death, he convinced my sister (the personal rep) that even though we had trusts set up as to avoid probate and estate taxes, that he would need to prepare several documents and proceed through probate. Unfortunately, my sister died shortly after as well and I became the representative of my mothers estate. He told me the work he had done for my family cost $11,000 and he would need $5000 from me right away. He did not complete the items he stated he would, therefore I stopped communicating with him as to not drive the bill higher. Unfortunately, even AFTER I told him he is not MY lawyer and that I never signed a client agreement, he continued to represent me without my knowledge. Filing papers in the court etc. He is a SNAKE. He harasses for money. He should not be trusted.

This man has only himself in mind. Does not return calls. Does not return emails. Spends money without approval and refuses to explain why. We were quoted $30,000 in repairs to a house in trust. He spent $70,000 and NEVER told us what it was on.$10,000 was withheld and never returned. Not at all happy with his services. Because he billed us every time we called him we stopped calling so as to not raise the bill any higher.

Does not return calls or emails. Billed for services without follow up as to what you(we were being billed for. We have asked several times what certain monies were spent on and still have not been told after being quoted a price and twice that was spent on house renovations to a property that was part of a trust.

Saved my whole family a lot of time and money. Held our hand throughout the whole process. Cannot say enough about the time Mr. Gianino spent with us and the money that was saved for our family. There should be more lawyers out there that genuinely care about the elderly and their family.

Hired him to help handle nursing home issues like qualifying for medicaid, transferring assets, etc. Needless to say several months later nothing has been done and they continuously ignore my messages. With the time and money wasted I could have hired a REAL lawyer. Don't waste your time with these jokers.

pitches a great sale; poor follow-up. allowed uninformed staff to make major financial decisions that forced us in a corner with nursing home. the paralegal who substituted as a secretary for most of the time we were engaged did a majority of the work with us. after speaking with other lawyers in same town town they felt we were "fleeced" on the entire probate process. bottom line: shop around; ask many questions.

Both of my parents had to be admitted to a long term care facility. They are now both being well taken care of in one of the facilities in the area. This would not have been the case were it not for john Gianino's knowledge, expertise and help.
