Tim represent me when my ex-husband decided to stop my alimony and file with court to terminate the alimony all together. Tim has a great staff/team who work with you through the day at court. Tim was knowledgeable in all areas of the law and made decisions that produced more to me than what I expected. He was compassionate and understanding to my case. I highly recommend this firm for many reasons but mostly, the cost was reasonable. I didn’t feel I was robbed by being represented by an attorney. Great job Tim and team!

Tim and his staff have been nothing but professional, helpful, and extremely empathetic to my needs. On the day of my hearing, Tim was on time, very well prepared, and argued my case in a supervisor matter. I would highly recommend Tim for any legal assistance that he can provide within his scope. Tim, Allison, Michelle and Tori were absolutely amazing. Allison and Tim picked me up and saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. They not only got me through my divorce legally they got me through it emotionally as well. I will forever be grateful for them. I need to obtain Tim McGoughran for family law due to long standing custody issues from my previous divorce. The first time I met with Tim, he listened to my issues, wrote a letter and charged me a fair price. Unfortunately, I then had to retain him a few months later. Allison, his paralegal was simply amazing. She worked with me the entire time, told me exactly what they needed from me and by when, and I only needed to go in to the office for consultation once prior to court. Everything else was accomplished by email in order to keep costs to a minimum. The quality of their work is top notch, they do not let any detail go unmentioned, and they make sure you and they have everything needed to ensure a successful ending. Most importantly, they care about you as a client. This was the biggest thing for me while working with them. Are lawyers expensive yes, they all are, but Tim McGoughran and Allison and their team are totally worth every penny.

Tim and his team (staff) did a great job and helped my through my divorce, something I put off for years. But now I am moving foward with my life thanks to him and his staff.I am also recovering from a severe head injury which affects my short term memory,and the way I process information. They have been patient and explained everything to me. I cannot thank him enough.

Nothing but high marks for this Law Firm! They have the expertise you need to win your case. They are right on the cutting edge of the changes in case law that could make all the difference. I believe the word divorce is synonymous with misery. However, Mr. McGoughran and his staff assured me not to worry, so I didn’t. The Law Office of Timothy McGoughran certainly evoked a sense of security within me and the divorce process. I cannot thank the McGoughran law team enough, as they are the reason I have a new lease on life. Not only were my anxieties quelled, they accommodated me in every way possible. Timothy McGoughran Esq. did a great job with helping me settle my case. After my former attorney could no longer practice due to a medical emergency, I found myself in search for a replacement counsel who needed to be of the same caliber as my former attorney with similar levels of knowledge, expertise and years of experience. Timothy McGoughran was recommended to me off of a very short list by a psychologist who works regularly in the courts with numerous attorneys because Tim met my criteria. Once retained, Tim and staff had to work diligently to get up to speed with my case, which they handled proficiently in no time. I was involved with Family Court for an 8 1/2 year nightmare, and used 4 different lawyers during that time. At the end I had need of a lawyer, once more, the day before our court date, and luckily found Tim McGoughran. My case involved criminal, as well as family court matters, and our files could have filled a room. Tim quickly perused and grasped our issues. He's amazing! We went to court and won on every issue. For the first time in 8 1/2 years I felt that I had competent representation. When our bill came in the mail my husband actually smiled as he wrote out the check. Whether we had won or lost wasn't the point. It was the fact that for the first time we had an attorney who knew what he was doing! That's all you can ask for. My advice? Look no further. Hire him! He KNOWS what he's doing!

I made an appointment to see Tim because after dealing with the enormous amount of paperwork working with the probation dept to have my son emancipated I finally gave up. Tim assured me this was simple to do and he would have it done in a very short timeframe. I left his office skeptical but he kept true to his word and before I knew it my son was emancipated! FIVE stars for Tim McGoughran and his firm. He will be my attorney going forward.

Tim McGoughran is a top notch lawyer, whose skills in the courtroom are exceptional. Tim is well respected by judges and adversaries; he commands the courtroom. His negotiation abilities are also outstanding. Although I am a lawyer myself, I hired him to handle my divorce and custody dispute. His associate attorneys and paralegal, Alison, were committed and dedicated to my case and responsive to me in every regard. I gladly paid his legal bill - it was fair and well deserved.

Unreachable and sends someone else on the day of court who shows up late. Office wait times are long and bills sent were incorrect. Constantly charges interest fees for balances already paid. Don't waste your time with this lawyer!!
