If you are looking for a Lawyer that cares about you and is passionate about her work. Brita is the one. She listens to you with empathy and when she goes to work for you she is second to none. She also will not forget you when the divorce is final. I interviewed several Lawyers because many seemed affraid because of my x-wifes political ties, but Brita said wrong is wrong and she went after the case and won. I strongly recommend her.

Ms. Long tells it like it is, tells you the problems with your case as well as the strengths of your case. She also works hard to help correct any problems with your case. She is a fighter, but won't fight just for the sake of fighting. She returns your calls withing a few hours, answers your questions, and pushes the case along. She is a great attorney and if other attorney's had her work ethic and ethics in general the legal process would go much more smoothly.

Ms. Long is very professional and makes it clear in the first meeting that she cannot help you if you do not take her advice, that she cannot guarantee results in your favor and that she cannot represent you if you do not follow her directions and advice. I only wish all attorneys would me so frank with their clients and tell them when they are being unreasonable. Ms. Long is quick to tell you when you are being unreasonable and offer a course of action that will be looked at favorably by the court.

This was worse than trying to get a building permit! She didn't do any research, lost paperwork I provided and claimed I never gave to her. Say she would do things and then never do them. She was adamant about doing things her way -"I may own the ship but she's the captain" was how she described it! Claimed she didn't need my approval to make deals with my wifes lawyer. Big talker, thinks she's the best, but god help you if you call her on the carpet for screwing up - she'll get in your face and make it out to be all your fault. "it's not all about you" she told me. Well who is she representing if not me? Doesn't understand about union retirement plans. Did not accept my ideas easily. It took a month or two to accepted my ideas about property division. Didn't understand what I wanted for visitation - she took her own track on that one. Said it was for the best, that I was unreasonable in my expectations. She said I would get more if I asked for less. Hmmm - novel bargaining strategy?!!
