He is a good attorney to write a rotten letter if you need one, and that's about it. I don't recommend getting sucked into his firm's abyss unless you really don't care about the bills. He seems willing to take any case and is great at getting upset on your behalf and stirring up his client, but you will pay for his learning curve when he has to refer to other attorneys at his firm (so you are paying for two or more lawyers time to cover the same work). He -or rather his assistants- do prepare well and collect massive amounts of information -so much that Bartles doesn't remember important information about your case and you have to pay (again) to remind him. He is good at a deposition, but seems to communicate as if he's always in deposition. He absolutely does not listen well, will interrupt you, and can be very frustrating to communicate with as a client -especially if you don't share his bearish communication style.
