Our property is also part of the buyout process for which the town hired Kozan. I have to REPEATEDLY call his office to get a response. We've been pushed back from July to September to January and now no specific closing date in sight - most people who work in this fashion get fired... Not sure how Kozan is still on board! Stay away and go elsewhere if you want the job done.

My town hired him for the flood buyouts. Impossible to get in touch with and does not call back. Information is constantly changing and it is IMPOSSIBLE to plan anything with the way Kozan works. I am VERY suspicious of the stellar review below. The service we have received has been poor - at best.

Stay far away. We have been waiting to close on our house with his assistance since September.. now it has been pushed back to January... with no end in sight. Will NEVER work with again!

I know Mr. Kozan to be extraordinarily knowledgeable and talented in the very specialized field of workers' compensation. Stay away from this guy. He will promise you everything, then do nothing. He starts off in a very impressive way, but do not let that fool you. When a problem in your case comes up, you cannot speak to him directly. He is always busy and you have to talk to his staff (1 person). At this point, my case is so screwed up, I am walking away and cutting my losses. Unfortunatly, I will be responsible for payment of all the medical bills that should have been paid for by my employer. Do yourself a favor, use someone else.

Attorney of the highest caliber. This lawyer won on summary judgment, in a class action lawsuit alleging an entitlement to 14 million dollars-- meaning that the case never even had to go to trial. Not only that, but this case centered upon complicated issues involving the "demutualization" of the Prudential Insurance Company, "conversion" of funds, and whether or not retirees can sue their former Unions for actions which are taken after they retire. Mr. Kozan showed a mastery of these issues-- involving contract, labor, and insurance law to which most other lawyers have never even been exposed. Mr. Kozan personally and single-handledly undertook an exhaustive amount of investigation-- including multiple depositions, etc. to bring facts to light which supported his position as to these legal issues. Mr. Kozan argued all these issues before the Court brilliantly, and in the most persuavive manner possible.

Mr. Kozan won my husband 1.3 million dollars in a lawsuit which no other lawyer would take. In fact, they all said that this case was impossible to win. Mr. Kozan sued my husband’s employer for exposing him to toxic chemicals on the job. Mr. Kozan explained to us that the case would be very difficult and would take a long time to resolve. He told us exactly what to expect, at every step of the way, and prepared us for everything that happened. He did what everyone said could not be done, and surpassed our highest expectations. I would recommend to everyone that they place their full trust in Mr. Kozan for any legal issue they may have.
