Mr. John Crisafulli is a typical lawyer, a representative of his clients whom are my children. He did an amazing job during the final petition hearing but that’s not to say we didn’t have our differences. In the beginning, I felt Mr. Crisafulli was making exceptions for the opposing side. He made some poor decisions but in the end he gained the trust of my girls and I was able to see his goal, which was occluded until now.

I substituted John in the very early stages of my case and without hesitation. If he is knowledgeable, he only shows this in his tendency to speak down upon you in a very slow and condescending tone. When it came to court, his actions made it clear that he had not even taken a look at my case files. His misinterpretations of the document I had provided him detailing my role as a parent turned into a scathing cross petition that caused way more harm than good. While retaining Mr. Crisafulli, I had to move to another house. He was the first person I told. Two weeks after moving (after watching him write my new address down), he scolded me for not giving him the information. This was a recurring theme. He often interrupted our meetings to take calls from clients that owed him money. He would then boast about the fact that money was being given to him. To me, this made his priorities very clear. He inevitably guided me to an unnecessary trial that could have easily been avoided.

Mr. Crisafulli continues to fairly represent my children and has done so now for 4 years. He has taken the time to clearly examine the parenting style of both myself and my spouse and has incorporated our actions into his decisions to represent my son and daugther. Mr. Crisafulli compassionately dismissed the remainder of my bill when he was given a clear perspective of my income/debt.

I have had the opportunity to observe Mr. Crisafulli stand up and defend his client, our child, for over three years. Many other law guardians would have chosen the much easier path that would have not been in the best interests of the child. His knowledge of the law and his trial experience are quite impressive and formidable. He is a bulldog in the courtroom. He has gone far beyond the expectations of most people I know, let alone attorneys. I know for a fact he has gone above and beyond the call of duty for his client. He is very forthright in his communications; he has returned all my calls promptly; he is easy to talk to. His quality of work is outstanding. There are few people I can think of, friends and family, included, that have earned this level of trust, respect, and gratitude so quickly.

Very unethical as he used the spouse's biased perspective in the case against the husband without even meeting the husband and hearing his side. He was a law guardian in this case but he acts as if he's the spouse's lawyer. I believe he should be held accountable for his actions. unethical

Mr. Crisafulli may have some "typical lawyer" in him, but I found his representation of my children was good. He clearly excelerated my case recently, when my own lawyer would have caused an unnecessary delay. He spoke up and established a trial date and saved me another useless appearance. This was clearly in the interests of his clients -- my children.

He does not keep up with the changes in law, and he charges way too much money for his little knowledge of the law. He will never go above and beyond to help a client, he will only do the minium to make the most money. If you ask for retainer money back, I believe he pads your itemized bill. It would be wise to keep track (time)of every phone call, office meeting, letter, and legal work, if possible. He used to have a very good lady who worked for him for years, but she left and now he has no one. Very difficult to get ahold of.
