I had a high conflict family matter. From the beginning Sally made me feel supported by her kind and caring nature. She is always professional and demonstrates a dedicated work ethic. On several occasions related to my case in a courtroom setting and she was extremely organized and well prepared. She does not give me any false promises about possible outcomes but she has always produced good results. Joanna was very efficient and professional to work with. Thank you Sally and Joanna. I was referred to Sally for legal help regarding my separation. The entire firm has top notch communication, professionalism, and expert legal advice. I appreciated very much Sally's direct approach and ability to stand firm and tough where and when it was needed most. Sally was the worst decision I have ever made in my life. She had absolutely no idea what she was doing and I was brand new to the court system and I wish someone had told me how useless she is while I was going through it. My ex is mentally unstable, controlling and emotionally abusive and I hired Sally unfortunately and when we went to a motion she charged me 30 thousand dollars and had no idea what she was doing. She had chicken scratch notes all over the place and was completely unorganized. After I brutally lost the motion and finally fired her, it was too late. My new lawyer couldn't even clean up the mess she made so I have to live with a monster for the next 10 years. To top it all off, Sally said that "people are expected to pay their own costs" which is a blatant lie. I have to pay him for the motion I lost because the loser has to pay. She has absolutely no clue about law and I wish someone would have left this review so I could stay as far away from her as humanly possible

She acts in the beginning like she knows her stuff and will help you. She told the other lawyer things I said not to, charged me for every little thing even when I wrote the information they used in the court filings, and did not know her stuff when it came down to it. DO NOT USE HER!!!

Sally reduced my child support by half in the superior courts of justice Hamilton, Ontario. She was very aggressive and the other side was defeated with costs against them. My fees were discounted and were very reasonable to say the least. Thank you Sally for all your hard work and determination. Anthony

Read the rating that the person wrote in Nov. 2007 and know that Sally hasn't changed a bit !! I only wish I had read the review before I decided to get her to help with my legal issue. I've done the majority of the work myself - she gets her secretary to type out all I've sent and then charges me $325 an hour to do it !! I hardly ever saw her but she always charged me the full rate "working with my secretary is the same as seeing me " she told me. Give me a break ! Run... don't walk to ANYONE else !!!

Sally is an excellent lawyer. You will get good communication when she has done her work and has something to report. She's efficient and informative and will expedite matters according to your instructions, and also inform you of issues you may not have considered.
