the guy is a narcissistic blowhard. He'll promise you the moon and deliver on a manure wagon. Stay away from this guy. Immensely personal and immensely shallow.

Mr. Rice helped me since 1997 with child custody separation and divorce. He did a great job. He does expect to be paid which anyone would who is working by the hour for someone else. If anyone has anything negative to say about Rice it is because they didn't pay him and he had to get out of their case for reason of non payment. Hire Mr. Rice and you will get a dedicated hard working attorney. But no, he does not work for free. If you expect someone to work for you, you have to pay them for their work.

In the middle of my custody battle, Mr Rice did not keep me informed as to my case, did not notify me of court dates, and negotiated a parenting plan which I did not agree to nor authorize him to do so. When I was angry and I let him know I was angry, he immediately "withdrew" from my case - one and a half weeks before Thanksgiving Break - Which left me without visitation for my daughter. No retuned phone calls, no returned emails, he does not care about your case - You are not important to him unless you agree with him and let him do what HE wants to do. Your opinions or wants and needs do not matter to him. Do not hire him as a lawyer. He will leave you high and dry when you need him the most. And never even pick up the phone to tell you why.
